Death Of Aruther Barahir

As the night slowly fell upon Arethor, a man was taken through the crowd towards the gallows. He walked slow, knowing his life was soon to reach it's end and that he had broken the last promised he had made. He sighs deeply as they come closer to the gallows, feeling the edge of a sword in his back "Move it now" the knight said and he continued walking towards the Gallows.

He closes his eyes for a brief moment, mumbling to himself "Lets get this over with now" and picks up the pace. As they head up the stairs, to where he'll be hung, he quickly gets the rope around his neck. He looks around at the crowd standing infront of him, some asking what he had done, some standing quiet. "Aruther Barahir, you are sentenced to be a rebel and a traitor of Oren, a deserter of the Silverblade house. For this you will pay with your life" He hears a voice saying, looks down at the floor, sighing once again before looking at Piper "Piper, tell Bella I said bye". He looks over at Lion, who pulls the lever and he falls down with a loud crack from his neck.

-Isabella Elendil paced around the castle, furious tears streamed down her face. He Papa Axl had forbidden her to go to Arethor but what was she to do?! It was her Awuther. She looked over to Kaitlyn and Selina and knew she had the perfect opportunity. She darted past them, dodged the guard's grip and out to the carriage. She hopped on quickly and hit behind the gallows for some time.

The shouts and worried screams of those looking for her filled her ears. The one that got to her was the angered one of her Papa but she edged along trying to not care. She searched wildly for Awuther until...She was caught.

He Papa scolded her for disobeying. All Bella could muster was "I was looking for Awuther..."

In an instant, her Papa's features softened and held her very close. He said to her that Aruther had gone to play with Alyssia and Harren.

Bella looked at him in shock whispering "But...He promised..." Then started to scream and cry into her Papa's chest.-

((SHE IS VERY UPSET RIGHT NOW. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY.))

*Adorellan stands there, his eyes wide as he watches Aruther taken to the gallows, "What... have you done now.." He says, taking a step forth, but still hidden. A tear runs down his cheek as he watches his once proud Squire being hung.* "I was.. always proud of thee.." He says, turning away, walking back into Arethor.*

*As he looks around the crowd, he notice an old face. He looks at him for a second only to notice the tear running down his cheek, he quickly looks away, staring into the ground quietly*

(Who is ordering executions? Im the only person that can order theses things, in the Crownlands.. Dukes can in there land, against there own people..)

As the Emperor rides, he is informed of the execution, he has angered look on his face, as he knew this man this Knight as Godfrey with angered tone shouts to the crowds. ''Who dares and executes in my land with out my orders!'' as he kicks his horse and Un-sheaths his blades and looks at some officials and knights he can pick out in the crowd.

Eze'kiel grits his teeth and crumples the letter in the rookery in front of the old crow keeper. He throws the note behind himself, it sets aflame and bounces off the stone walls and turns to ash on the floor.

"Aye always 'ad a soft spot fer' rebels. But I didn't know ye' were a rebel. I always saw ye' as a man who valued es' family over es' country, en fer' that, I respect ye' in death. I shoulde' stabbed Leric. Right in his neck n' told ye' te' run. Faced te' trials en' let ye' see yer' family en' I'd go see mine."

Grins a little bit after he stops grinding his teeth.

((Why does everyone seem to mistake me for Leric? My character's name is Lerin, not Leric. And I look nothing like him.))

((haha, well you got a so simular names... ))

*Pius sits in his throne by himself as he thinks to himself of the events of the past day, involving his grandson Aruther. As he does such a page runs through the door telling the High Pontiff of what has happened:

"Your Grace and Holiness it is my displeasure to have to make thy aware of the excecution and death of your grandson Aruther- Ordered by your uncle Boiendl."

*the page steps back as he returns to his position, as Pius remains still staying deep in thought. He stands up as he looks down the long corridor, stepping down the long red carpet as he exits through the front doors. Pius turns to his right, speaking to a few squires and knights:

"Gentle Sers we ride."

*with the assistance of a squire Pius saddles his horse and rides off with the knights into the night, arriving at the execution stand in Arethor in due time. As they straddle their horses to the stalls Pius steps up the stairs as he looks down at the defiled and death ridden body of his grandson. A large scorn look fills his face as he gestures to the knights to take the body. Pius closes his eyes deeply as he lets out orders to the knights to prepare for the funeral in the following days*

*Pius steps up to the cemiterial holy building as knights, clergy, and hundreds of others fill the field he speaks in a saddened and weak voice:

"Since the last days dreadful news I have seen, throughout Oren and through it's people an overwhelming expression of sadness at Aruther's death. We have been trying in our different ways to cope. It is not easy to express a sense of loss, since the initial shock is often succeeded by a mixture of other feelings: disbelief, incomprehension, anger -- and concern for those who remain. We have all felt those emotions in these last few days. So what I say to you now, as your High Pontiff and as a grandfather, I say from my heart. First, I want to pay tribute to Aruther myself. He was an exceptional and gifted human being. In good times and bad, she never lost her capacity to smile and laugh, nor to inspire others with her warmth and kindness. I admired and respected him -- for his energy and commitment to others, and especially for his devotion to his family and friend. No one who knew Aruther will ever forget him. I for one believe that there are lessons to be drawn from his life and from the extraordinary and moving reaction to his death. I share in your determination to cherish his memory. This is also an opportunity for me, on behalf of my family, to thank all of you who have brought flowers, sent messages, and paid your respects in so many ways to a remarkable person. These acts of kindness have been a huge source of help and comfort. I hope that tomorrow we can all, wherever we are, join in expressing our grief at Aruther's loss, and gratitude for his all-too-short life. With this there are those who will think of that which has gone on now, in the end of his life and remember him for such actions. But, many changes have gone on but we have all known of the true Aruther and man that we all have come to love and hold dearly. And I hope you will do such wholeheartedly."

*he finishes his speech as tears fall down his face*
