Raglin panted, the swamp was hot and humid, he had been traveling for ages with the Kharajyr, hunting for food for his clan. Recently, they had found a great shortage in food supplies, and Raglin decided to go out and hunt for food in the farther lands.

He was having a hard time keeping pace with the agile female Kharajyr, as she moved lithely through the dense vegetation. Every step Raglin made was amplified by a squish and the clank of his armor. He hated the humidity, and the dank air made him sweat profusely. He drank a long drink from his tankard, wiping his mouth on his gauntlet.

They came upon a river, ending the swamp and introducing them to a few hills, obscuring the view of beyond. But, what they did see was a cloud of smoke rising. They trudged ahead, finally coming upon a burning village, undead monsters swarming through the streets. Raglin spotted the screaming villagers, and wasted not a second to leap into the fray.

In not but a few moments they were in the midst of the swarm of undead, Raglin's axes slicing them down one by one, blood coating the blades' iron. The Kharajyr's golden claws slashed through green, moldy flesh. Raglin threw forth one of his axes, which impaled itself into the skull of an oncoming attacker. But soon he lost sight of the Kharajyr, and not long after, heard the screeching of pain.

He charged forth, his back and sides being battered by undying fiends' fists and claws. He fought through the huge crowd of undead, clearing only a small path for the injured Kharajyr to escape. She wasted no time, scrambling to her feet, rather than freedom. As Raglin shouted his war cry, "FOR TAE EDGEHANDS! FOR TAE DWARVES!" he brought down his axes, which began plowing through fetid flesh. But he was overwhelmed soon, the swarms blocking him from sight. But his grunting and yelling could still be heard as the Kharajyr twisted, teeth bared as she slammed down on her full four paws, pushing beside Raglin as she raged along with him.

He lurched forward, axe swinging in time with swift snaps and scratches of his spotted compatriot, the pair slowly working their way backwards. He turned, shoving the small feline over the ledge, sending her tumbling down into the tainted waters below. Her head lifted as she gave a yowl, eyes wide as she tried to claw back up the embankment, “Shiney! Shiney 'urry!”

Raglin grunted as the vile beings, foul breath reeking of undeath, grabbed and pulled at him. His armor tore as they yanked roughly, a strangled cry bursting up from his throat, “Gu now! Git outta 'ere!”

The Kha wailed, eyes watering slightly as her ears flattened. She clawed at the cliff face, clamoring up a small way before the steep wall forced her to slide back. She looked back and forth, sides heaving in panic before twisting and bolting off, body low to the ground as she tore across the dark forest in search of someone, anyone, to help.

To this day Raglin has yet to appear again. Has he fallen? Has the dwarf escaped but fallen, lost, in the wilds? This is to be determined.

(( Basically Raglin has gone missing. I did this to boost RP for my clan a bit, giving the new members something to strive for. Soon, we'll do a small little event where the clan will go hunting for Raglin with the assistance of the Kharajyr to track him. Anyways, will be RPing a different dwarf for the time being. ))
