"I have plenty of books, from so many people. I couldn't even finish the inventory."

He then turns back looking to see if Xexus is coming.

"Eh...give me more details about our traits and characteristics later, gonna grab some ale right now..."

Grey(Gavin) slowly walks into the tavern, and takes a seat

Taeyla peeps out of the door from the room she shares with her father. She sees Goroth talking to another mali'ker in the entry hall in hushed voices. As the other dark elf leaves and Goroth turns to the exit, Taeyla rushes up to greet her father, ramming into his leg and hugging it.

"Karinay, Papa!"

Goroth's head jerks down to look at his daughter and smiles warmly. He crouches down to her two year old daughter then stands picking her up.

"Karinay Taeyla~"

He uses one arm to hold her while he scruffs up her hair playfully with the other. Looking back to Grey who's leaving he says,

"Keray Grey..."

Taeyla giggles and shakes her head, trying to get her father's hand out of her hair. She looks out of the entrance of the hold up at the stars, her sapphire eyes reflecting their glow, making her eyes sparkle.

"Can we go out there, Papa? I want to see the sparkles!"

Goroth chuckles, retracting his hand from her hand and says,

"Of course! The /stars/ are really bright today~"

He then proceeds to lifting Taeyla onto his shoulders and walks out, keeping her steady with his hands.

Grey walks to the tavern, sitting down, hoping nobody would notice him

Taeyla's smile turns into a look of wonder as she sees the stars in all their glory. Her mouth opens in a gape as she takes in the celestial panoply. After a while her eyes look towards the gates and the moon rising behind them. She gapes at it and turns to her father's face, looking very excited.

"Is that where Velully lives, Papa? Can she see me?"

*Xexus Nightheart walks to Goroth, his moon staff tapping against the floor. His eyes are that stern mysterious amethyst, that hardly ever changes. His stature is important; moon-blue robes swishing, and the silver moon pendant thumping against his upper chest. He looks at the child for a long time as if reading her future and mind. She might be scared or enraptured by his gloomy amethyst eyes.*

"Goroth, I assume with the temple's recent completion you shall... Make one of us Nighthearts Velul? I would greatly appreciate that. Also, who is the child?"

*Xexus studies the child more as if he was planning world domination. He lays his mysteriously misty gaze back on Goroth. His lip quivers and curls, and a sly smile appears.*

Kazotar slowly walks through Malins Gorge, not wearing his heavy armour like he usually does. He slowly walks to the tavern, grumbling something as he goes.

Goroth rocks Taeyla up and down as she gazes at the stars. Then as she asks about the moon he explains in a warm tone,

"Velulaei lives up there, its her home. But Velulii, your great great grandmother lives with her and watches you as you grow up~"

After kissing her forehead softly, he turns to look at Xexus smiling heartedly.

"This is Taeyla my 'adopted' daughter... About the temple, I'll let you get everything organized with your family. By the book, I don't think anyone is able to be an elder or high velul as of now..."

Kazotar walks into the tavern, his boots thudding against the wood as he walks over to a table. He sits down, taking out a very old looking book that has been burned slightly and begins to read it.

Goroth rocks Taeyla up and down as she gazes at the stars. Then as she asks about the moon he explains in a warm tone,

"Velulaei lives up there, its her home. But Velulii, your great great grandmother lives with her and watches you as you grow up~"

After kissing her forehead softly, he turns to look at Xexus smiling heartedly.

"This is Taeyla my 'adopted' daughter... About the temple, I'll let you get everything organized with your family. By the book, I don't think anyone is able to be an elder or high velul as of now..."

*Nods and looks to the child again.*

"For now I will agree. Once everything is organized I will begin to gain favor like it or not. Also, Velulaei bless her, and your kindness for adopting her. I must be off now. Keray."

*Turns around abruptly and marches off, moon staff tapping against the stone.*

Kazotar slowly closes the book, standing up. He gently places the book in his pack, then closes it. He walks up to the counter slwoly saying in a gruff voice '' One mug o' ale please ''
