An Odd Elf With An Odd Personality

The Last Pine Tavern was completely empty, as it had been for quite some time. The doors kept out the wind, but only just, as a draft blew in through cracks in the door. Cobwebs gathered in the corners of the tavern, giving off a dusty scent. The tavern was completely empty, that is, apart from a single elf.

This was no ordinary elf, but what was an ordinary elf? Such ideas were frivilous and restricting to the idea of a 'normal person', but this particular elf could in no way be put in any category other than straight odd. As he sat at the desolated bar, he seemed to speak to someone, but the only one he could be speaking to could be none other than the elf himself.

Yes, he appeared to be speaking to himself.

"Aisos, you said you would stop drinking, you're not the only one here you know."

"Yes, but that was before I saw the other mug! I couldn't help but take a little sip."

"Blast you fool, give me that!"

"What have you gone and spilled it for?"

He laughed hartily, unnatural for an elf. He wiped his mouth from the ale, but then looked dishearteningly at the spilled drink on the counter. After a couple of seconds he shrugged, smiled and laughed, and continued to talk with no one in particular... It was a party. A party of one.

((Well that's it. I hope you like it. Sorry it's a little short. I have meant to post this a long time ago, but I never got around to it. I was wondering what the communities and gm's thoughts were, although I can't really void it by now, I've already implemented it in rp.))

((A little explanation of what's going on here, my character, Aisos, has multiple personality disorder that flips on a dime without the consent of any inside or outside force. The different mindsets just bubble up, and he has had to learn to live with it. Currently he only has three different main mindsets, occasionally I experiment with different characters, but normally just stick to the trio.))

((Another thing I've added is that whenever his personality changes, so does his eye color. This is where I'm feeling a little flimsy on. My problem is I'm worried it's a little too over the top or if it could be considered 'magic without an app'. It's not exactly magic, although I don't have a strong explanation for it. If I can't get a good one, I'll just drop it, and use other ways to suggest my personality has changed.))

((I need speculation on this matter, any constructive criticism is welcome))

((it seems good..but i would think that you would need a pretty good explanation for the eye color change. Other then that... good character choice.))

((Yeah, I need some ideas on how to explain the eye color change. He can't be using contacts because they are constantly changing all the time. But I use the eye color change to be able to represent the personalities as different characters, rather than one distinct character with a personality complex, which is essentially what it is...))

((could I use my small natural elven magical heritage as an explanation for my eye color change, or would I need an app for that? Could magical eye change be subconscious?))

((He would need to get a VA for psychopathy wouldn't he? Even if he wasn't going to harm anyone I think that mental disorder would need a VA.))
