VonAulus 2082 Share Posted December 16, 2012 Okay guys, this is simpe, use this to ask the ooc questions instead of making new topics. I will also put in spoiler a list of questions asked and answered. Any orc with some knowledge can answer. Thanks. Q: What is a whitewash? A: Actually from what your describing your character wouldn't be considered a whitewash, a cub when he reaches a good age is thrown out into the wilds to fend for himself/herself. If he doesn't come back hes weak, if he does come back hes a strong bubhosh cubbie. To be considered a whitewash is many things. Some people think whitewashes are people who break lore, other believe whitewashes are those who speak perfect common but the accurate definition of whitewash is an Orc who abandons Orc society FOREVER and never returns to the Uzg. ΚΨΙΞ 710 Share Posted December 16, 2012 Incase you didn't see Cyndikate I posted this on your other thread. The Cleaning Crew 571 Share Posted December 17, 2012 I am going to add some commonly asked ones like how tall are goblins. There's a guide to being a goblin right HERE. I'm guessing it's Craotor, he's over 300. Brevias and Gooms are 1600 and 1400 years old, respectively. He and I have been aging at a different rate than everyone else, apparently. Brevias would be somewhere in the 800-1000 range and Gooms 600-800. Still, they're older than Craotor. 1300th post

VonAulus 2082 Author Share Posted December 17, 2012 Will there ever be whitewash hunts? Most likely there will be. We could go on a few in 2.5 if we see any whitewashes around.

VonAulus 2082 Author Share Posted December 18, 2012 Why is Grool eggshell white, as an orc? He is sandy color. I do not know, I just though I would make a different orc instead of the same old green. But I still keep Grool lore appropriate.
LaCabra (Soda) 1519 Share Posted December 22, 2012 I've got just a couple of questions. To my understanding, even a whitewash has bloodlust, correct? Just because it's whitewash, doesn't make it nice? Orcs/Goblins often have a strange accent because of their tusks. If one were to tear these tusks out and use them as some sort of jewellery or weapon, would this accent slowly go away? Also, another question on language. If an Orc or Goblin were raised away from Orc culture, would they perhaps not use words such as "Blah" in replacement of "speak", along with other common Orcish terms such as "Twiggy" and "Stowts"? How challenging would it be to obtain a Lur Wolf/Warg as a Whitewash Goblin? Final question - How adaptable are Goblins to caves and colder areas than deserts? The Cleaning Crew 571 Share Posted December 22, 2012 I've got just a couple of questions. To my understanding, even a whitewash has bloodlust, correct? Just because it's whitewash, doesn't make it nice? Yes, the bloodlust is a curse from Iblees. Whitewash orcs may live among the other races sometimes, but that doesn't mean they have to be nice. Orcs/Goblins often have a strange accent because of their tusks. If one were to tear these tusks out and use them as some sort of jewellery or weapon, would this accent slowly go away? Yes, though I don't believe any pure-blood orc would ever do this. A few half-orcs do. Also, another question on language. If an Orc or Goblin were raised away from Orc culture, would they perhaps not use words such as "Blah" in replacement of "speak", along with other common Orcish terms such as "Twiggy" and "Stowts"? They wouldn't know the language if nobody taught them, but they would still have the orcish accent. How challenging would it be to obtain a Lur Wolf/Warg as a Whitewash Goblin? To my understanding, Lur wolves are mostly bred and raised by orcs themselves, so for any whitewash to get one to actually obey it would be near impossible unless they stole one at its birth(also nearly impossible). Final question - How adaptable are Goblins to caves and colder areas than deserts? Goblins are more adaptable than the rest of the orcs to areas like that. When they're choosing homes, they actually tend to live in hollowed-out areas underground.
