Words to the Blade

*Sariants laboring among chores, duties, and wall patrols stop as the voice of a sariant echoes from inside the walls. The sariants stop turning towards where the voice had erupted from. Joseph Henderson stands near side Hochmeister Mirtok*

 

 

“Brothers.. Sisters! Both the hochmeister and myself had been speaking with each other about our skills around the blade. So we have decided to host a series of  on going spars.We shall give you all three days to sharpen and perfect your skills in your weapon of choice. When the sun falls on the third day we shall begin the games. Each sariant must “enroll” stating their weapon of choice, name, then followed by the sariant’s standing among the Order. If you are to enrolled in the games each of you must fight in the one-on-one spars. Shortly after the victor of the one-on-one spars, we shall begin with the much more favored spar, two-on-two. Not every sariant will be required to partake in these events if they do not feel up for the task.”

 

 

*Joseph pauses for a minute then just about when he is to speak again Hochmeister Mirtok speaks*

 

 

“You are all men of the Cross and I expect that you will not let this tourney get in the way of your important duties and services to your brothers. Though winning said spars will earn recognition and honor, true honor comes from the well balanced. And if I catch anyone of you trying to tip that scale too far . . . you better expect an ass whoopin’.”*

 

 

*Mirtok turns walking back towards his keep. Joseph seizes the opportunity for to keep their attention and speaks of a victor’s Medal*

 

 

 

 

 

“The victor in the one-on-one spars shall receive Honor Among Brotherhood & the victors of the two-on-two spar shall receive the same trophy.”

~ One-on-One fights must include at least 5 minutes of beginning RP fighting. Then both must decide when to PVP. This adds interest & length to the mix. At the end of the each fight they my emote “knocking their opponent out”

 

 

~Two-on-Two fights will be held up to the four fighting sariants, if they want to RP at first then go into a fight that is fine.
