Forgive me if this is in the wrong section; figured everyone needed a little assistance in determining what is heavy sexual innuendos and what isn't, or in general what gets you banned and what doesn't. Hopefully a GM doesn't close this and just say "Community should be able to interpret the rules" because the rules seem to be very open ended and based on the judgement of the GM who bans you not an overarching rule.

 

So, my plan for this is pretty simple. Let's say you are in a romance/torture RP and are confused if an action is bannable. You can ask if that action is okay or not and hopefully a GM responds and gives a verdict. If a GM says something isn't bannable here, I assume that means it is universal, and hopefully we can spark some discussion and figure out what is okay and what isn't, so we don't have the needless permabans we have now

Is it perma-bannable to say F*ck RPly? If so in what contexts (or all contexts?)

Is it perma-bannable to say C*ck, P*nis, D*ck (anything meaning the male genitalia)? If so, in what contexts (or in all contexts?)

Is it perma-bannable to say wh*re, sl*t, b*tch? If so, in what contexts?

Is it perma-bannable to say F*ggot RPly? If so, in what contexts (or all contexts)

Is it perma-bannable to say C*nt, P*ssy? If so, in what contexts (or all contexts)

Is it perma-bannable to say S*it, damn? If so, in what contexts (or all contexts). 

Is it perma-bannable to emote *undressing* if one makes it clear one still has underwear on?

Is it perma-bannable to punch or wound a child? Is it perma-bannable to speak of wounding or attacking a child?

Is it perma-bannable to mention abortion? To joke about it? To commit it?

Is it perma-bannable to mention a groin or crotch? For example, could one aim a kick to the groin or crotch? But for another example, can one scratch or emote touching one's crotch (obviously not for sexual purposes, but such as lazily scratching one's groin)

Thanks, though does that not conflict with merrymoogle's ban as he "joked" about abortion and he got banned? Unless of course that charge was invalid, and the 1 month ban was for the comment about "sex or death"? What exactly are the "situations?"

 

Just want to make sure that this is a unified staff thing, and if someone commits the deed they won't fall into trouble.

As I recall, merrymoogle's abortion thing was just one reason why he was banned. Check his apeal if you would like more concrete details though.

I can acknowledge the anger/issue with my second reason, but I don't see the justification in my original ban report as posted by Saviordude, if you said it is not bannable. Can this be elaborated upon? You said "depends on the situation", was my situation one of them?

How is fagg*t not bannable? It's a modern word that was forged with the intolerant narrow and narrow minded views of certain individuals. I see no context of it being used in LOTC, it is a word of hatred, meant to target homosexuals in TODAY'S times.
