Hey people of LOTC.  I come to you with a poll about some things I'm trying to make more community involved.  I've noticed a lot of you complaining about the lack of production from the media team so I'm trying my best to find of new ways to entertain you without making video after video, since those are really time consuming and involve lots of planning!

 

I'd also like to take this time for you to post any questions you have about the Media Team below and I'll answer with the best of my ability.  But otherwise please Answer the Poll and give me feedback about the Twitter and Facebook Accounts!

Facebook and twitter are horribly annoying, and both of them steal your information.

 

Maybe make like, another forum page for stuff like that?

Perhaps, but that doesn't help attract new players to LOTC.  Twitter and Facebook might not be the best for social media, yet it sure helps more then a forum page only for our members.

I enjoy the facebook page, and the daily trivia question. I'm not a twitter person, and doubt I will get too heavily into it.

I just don't check my god damn facebook anymore as I can't seem to get rid of the 'like whores' or 'inspiring' photos.

I just don't check my god damn facebook anymore as I can't seem to get rid of the 'like whores' or 'inspiring' photos.

 

I solved that issue by unliking everything and unsubscribing from most of my friends.

Yup. This is the first I've heard of it. Can the media team have a sub-topic or something as part of the Server News? It would make things easier to see what we should be doing to help, as opposed to assuming that you want us to be present and liking on every minecraft forum and every terrible social networking site (myspace... anyone?) And if there is an official LOTC youtube page, my searching of youtube has not found it.

 

It would be nice for the users to see what the media team is up to.

I was thinking about that actually also, well similar.  I might push for Twitter and Facebook and YouTube buttons like the Voting button on our main page, or that new bar on the top.  It would make it much more accessible and easier for you guys to know what's happening with the Media team!  Apparently there is some in the top bar -.- Even I'm uninformed.   I will try and change that!

 

Also currently our Twitter is not controlled by a real person but is connected to our facebook.  I believe I will be taking Twitter over so that you can be expecting fresh, interactive and entertaining new tweets coming from that.   As well we have a plethora of beautiful Renders coming out near daily on our facebook page!   If you haven't already checked it out.  I understand however, not everyone has twitter.
