((Ooc)) Ideas For Orcs

I am currently working on a new currency for the orcs.

Currency: Bones

 - The use of bones is more orcish then the use of coins/paper currency of the minas.

    1. In order to get bones you must kill something. (bloodlust)

    2. Bones are just lying around now, many primitive societies used similar types of           currency

- Bones can actually be held in ones hand.

- Number of bones shows either your prowess at hunting or your prowess at klomping for                                   bones

     1. Rex could award bones in tournaments.

      2. Bones could be paid to soldiers after battles.

- The use of bones feels orcish.

      1. Drawing inspiration from ‘teef’ in the Warhammer 40k universe, we get our own currency.

- Instead of giving out free things, the War Uzg can sell food and weapons to each other,

providing better roleplay.

Minting process:

- Killing wild beasts while hunting will procure you some bones.

- Bone Meal is undesirable.

Inflation:

- With the constant inactivity or fluctuation of the orcish playerbase, bones will be going missing often.

- The War Uzg will provide farmers with bone meal if too many bones are in circulation.

- Provides new orcs easy access to money.

Other Merchants:

- Orcs will be sceptical of any bone not given to him by an orc. They may be from dark shamans if given to an orc by a pinkie.

- An exchange rate for minas will be figured out once the economy is stabilized.

- This will provide better roleplay for our non existent market, while, still being orcish.

Actually Grool, that idea sounds pretty legit. I could see it working quite well, the only issue being that orcs don't do all that much trading. Especially not amongst ourselves.

The new shop system implemented allows you to trade items for items. Too bad it is too buggy to use at the moment. Maybe we can do the bone system once they iron that out.
