Hero Application:

Minecraft User Name: 12igon6

Hero’s Name: Abeam

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Abeam was born in a small village outside of Sanjezal, his family worked a hard life as cacti farmers, they would make sure the cacti grew large so they could sell the product in the Sanjezal market. As he grew from a young child into a strong boy; he would watch the warriors of The Rex march off to war with the Dwarves, then return in triumph or in glorious defeat. When Abeam turned 16 he watched his brother Kar'gull march off with the army, and return on the shields of his comrades. Abeam vowed from that point to avenge his brothers deaths against the Dwarves.

After his parents died of The Pox, he sold the family farm and bought a small shack in Sanjezal with the profit. He was recruited by the Sanjezal guards and witnessed the corruption of the people he once thought were flawless. One day he witnessed his guard captain beating a young orc for just not saying Ug to him. He attempted to tell The Rex of the captains corruption, The Rex simply laughed and made Abeam join the new raiding party against a large Dwarven city, it was a massacre. Abeam was captured and sold into slavery by the victorious Dwarves, luckily a Priest of Aegis just so happened to be walking by the auction of the captured. He took notice of Abeam's peril, and in a rather fortuitous move, bought Abeam and released him under the payment that he would serve for 4 years as a Priest.

During the 4 years, Abeam was taught the error of his racism against the Dwarves, and that the Undead are the true enemies of Aegis. As soon as his term was up, he decided to join an organization known as the UAC. Swiftly rising through the ranks, he became 2nd in command in merely 7 years. He fought in The battle of Unk, the Siege of Al'Kazar, and many small skirmishes between the forces of Aegis and the Undead. After the Ascended decided it would be best to make the UAC the FOA, Abeam became once again 2nd in command. After living through the Sages exodus of Aegis, he became the leader of the FOA, and here he stands now.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Abeam has fought against the Undead for years.

He helped during the defense of Snowy Fields and Alstion.

Has been loyal to Aegis and Aeriel for all his life.

He has given charity out to the poor in Al'Kazar.

Not the mention the many attempted suicides he helped prevent.

Character Flaws:

Abeam has Hubris. He is easy to taunt, easy to trick, and extremely prideful. His arrogance can get the best of him, and his hotheadedness can get him into trouble.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Abeam is a warrior, he has fought everything from the Dwarves to the Undead. He has the strength to wear sets of diamond armor into battle, and to swing his fierce diamond sword, Nashmir, with deadly efficiency. A berserker he is not, he has the ability to keep his cool in battle, and constantly keep his mind focused, even in normally routing situations.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

He believes that everything has the ability to do good. Even the Undead, in ways that they do not comprehend, do good in ways. He also is extremely loyal to his brethren, he has lost many of his friends to battle, and he feels helpless to leaving his friends in harms way. To compensate he often goes out of his way to protect his comrades, even if they need no protection.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Abeam believes that there is 2 stories for every crime. In one point of view, the victim was murdered for no reason, from another he was murdered due to his secret life as a Follower of Iblees. There are some true righteous things in the world, but there are also many true wrong things in the world. He simply believes that you must take both sides of the story, and try to follow the law, unless it is absolutely necessary that you must break it.

What are your characters views on the following statements (At least 1 Paragraph):

1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

Abeam believes that justice does involve paying one's debts, but in the same rational, he believes that if the person he owes his debt to is not in his right mind, or corrupted in his values, the person would not deserve the debt. But Abeam would pay the debt anyway, but keep his eye on the individual, if the man turns against the people, such as if he starts swinging his sword at innocents, it is Abeam's duty to stop him. Justice requires duty, and without it, there is no Justice.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

It is nobler to fight misfortune, say if your farm is failing on its crops, you would not simply sit and let the crops rot, you would find a way to heal them. If you suffer through the many misfortunes the world throws at you, you would walk out changed for the worse. You would be hard, cold, and unyielding to both good and evil. If you fight misfortune, even if you fail, you know that you tried your hardest, and you still go down to the same level as if you did nothing.
