Boomack21 124 Share Posted March 17, 2013 *Various scrolls are posted around the kingdom.* With the recent events of Moruk Frostbeard stepping down from his position as Head Merchant, King Omithiel Strongbrow has called for a re-election. The Grand Merchant takes on the task of organizing the kingdom's money, shops homes, trade, and other various assortments, as well as running the Dwarven Merchant Guild. The candidates must have some form of experience concerning the needed tasks to complete the job of Grand Merchant. Below is attached multiple slips to apply. The elected must show quality in their job, and participate in every day roles of the kingdom. The Grand Merchant is the job that circulates the economy of the kingdom. Once elected, the winner will gain access to many areas in which other dwarves do not. The position of Grand Merchant is to not be taken upon weakly. The slips attached will provide you with the needed information to run for Grand Merchant! Reason(s) to be Head Merchant: I tire uv other smaller companies topplin' over our nations economy. Despite the growth uv minas we 'ave acquired, it 'as not been significant enough. We must dominate the market with our superior materials and services. In addition te that, I will organizer public works like the expansion uv roads and the establishment uv a trade shop at the entrance te the grand valley that 'olds Kal'Azgoth. Reason(s) to be Grand Merchant: ((since this is on paper I will not write with an accent)) I believe I should receive the position of Grand Merchant as I have shown to be a prosperous dwarf throughout my time in the hold. I hold many relationships with other royal family members including ones like the hightowers. This can open up many business deals for us. On the topic of Toveah.... do I really need to even say something? He's a feckin human! That's against some law, and if it isn't, why do we dwarfs need the help of some fat human in order to be prosperous!!! It's a disrespect to Armakak himself! As I run for this prestigious position, I want you to know that I will have your best interest. I never liked voting for a 'ghost'. Voting for ideas through words, yet sometimes I didn't even know what was to come in the future. I was tired of being left in the dark, therefore I won't do that to you! I have a few plans in order to ensure success for this great nation. The mighty and wealthy nation that it should stay. The economy is a nations backbone. Without it, we have nothing more than some crops and twigs as weapons. I wish to make this mighty nation thrive militarily, socially, and economically. An old saying... "Power through strength" speaking militarily, strength comes in numbers, as it parallels into the economic world. I with to have a shop stall set up every 200-300 square meters on every single major road in Anthos. If we do not have our numbers, we have failed. The world shall be covered by out shop like locusts swarming the open plains! An elven family having a bread and steak dinner? I WANT THAT BREAD TO HAVE A DWARVEN SEAL ON IT! The rest of this land shall thrive off of our own prosperity. This nation shall shower in gold as it once did in the mighty city of Kal'Urguan in the lands of Aegis.
