An Elder Returns

Many hours into a cold, stormy night, the sounds of hooves clopping on a stone path can be heard outside, coming from the wilderness. The source of that sound is a hooded Hobbit atop a white pony. Not far behind, a dog follows out of the darkness. The figure on top of the pony releases a cheer at seeing his home, a cheer of welcome and gratitude. The dog barks several times, frightened by its master's sudden shouting.

 

Elder Bili Hollowmead has returned.

Gaeleg looks outside his window and squints trying to make out who the figure is. After staring for a while he jumps off his couch and runs toward Bili, yelling, "Oi! Bili, Welcome back!"

Bartley Riverdale smiles as he notices his old friend wander down the road. He begins to stand up knocking his head on the low overhead tree roots above him as he is about to wander out. Seeing how hard the rain is actually falling and how cold he is already he decides to remain shivering in the hides hole waiting till the storms break to greet his friend.
