With the departure of our esteemed leader Saul VonSchlichten, I Xi Swain will be president of the company and Jonas Walkingsnake will be the owner. Even though Jonas is the owner of VonSchlichten Co., everything to do with the company should be brought to me, Xi Swain.

 

With that saddening information, I have a couple of announcements to make.

 

ALL VonSchlichten Co. employees are to report to me, Xi Swain ((Send a pm on forums)) on their activity within the company, if they will be staying,and their position.

 

Secondly, if any of the current employees are good at building we need an architect for Headquarters.

 

Thirdly, we need a volunteer for head of the engineering department.

 

Lastly, all payments will be based on work and will not be given easily. I will not give out payments just because you are in the building or because you did some measly research.

Xi-

 

Though our earlier conversation made it seem that I was indeed to stay on with the company, a good think made me decide to leave. The Company must always be in the hands of a VonSchlichten, and I will not rejoin the company until such a time. I bequeath the Arboreum and most of its contents to the company. I leave with no ill will to you, Xi, but only out of my belief that a man should build his own company. If such a time comes that Saul or one of his descendants comes into ownership of the Company, I will refrain from your employ.

 

I do have a final request, which obviously can be completely disregarded (but I hope not). I ask that Dr. Tear be given my seat on the Council and the title of Head Researcher, and the Research Department operate in the way it was decided between Saul and myself. 

 

On an ending note... Xi, you are a very intelligent man, and obviously a brilliant manipulator of gold and business. I just wish that you would have a touch more adventurous spirit and knowledge of the world at large. I wish you all the luck in the world in this endeavour, and know that lest you should ever need my help or my vast accumulations of knowledge, I will help you to the best of my abilities.

Xi,

He gave us BOTH command. You heard him, "Xi AND Mandru". Therefore, I'm asuming the position of Vice President. I'm unsure of how to proceed. I believe that VonschlictenCo will never be quite right without a Vonschlicten at the helm. I will still help, however, in the council of executives and my usual researching to see how things turn out under these reformations. Though I may be taking a less active role than normal, VonschlictenCo shall always be my home. Either that, or I'm on the streets. However, if things start to get out of hand with the reformations, I reserve the right to resign at any time.

We must call a council at once. Scribe something to all the executives. We must also inform our customers and partners, including the Mage guild, which pays the Salvus shop rent, and the Hochmeister of Hanseti. During Saul's absence. I recommend promoting Hydrose Goldhand to acting Cheif Engineer effective as of now. Also, I agree with Cecil's proposition to promote Dr. Tear to head researcher. She deserves the position, and has proven herself with the fantastic research on the Final Element.

To All,

 

Due to the intolerable actions of the denizens of this continent, Director of Staff Russell Moore, Company Executive Grady Barrington, The Captain, Richmond, Jonas, Mr. Fif ,and myself will be leaving Anthos.  We have bought out the company ship, The Spirit of Akheron, and set sail toward a new continent.

 

I chose Xi to head up the company due to his guise and cunning.  Nearly 95% of the company decisions I made were with his counsel. Mandru, you have a way of rallying the staff so I wished for you to handle the "people" part of things while Xi handles the "business".

 

I am still acting head of VonSchlichtenCo Corporate. However, Xi will lead the Anthos Branch while the rest of us go to start anew elsewhere.
