Augustus read the letter again, having received it from his in-laws the Chivay's. For what seemed barely a moment he sat at his desk, thinking quickly. Drelik Letholdus, thirty five years of service, Captain of the guard, uncountable crimes committed in the name of Blackmont on explicit orders from Augustus himself. Augustus blinked, and called for the guard present outside his chambers.

"Yes m'lord?" inquired the guard, peeking in through the door.

"Where is Drelik?" asked Augustus, his eyes closed.

"I was just in the kitchen with him a few moments ago m'lord - he's eating with some of the men - then I came up for my turn at watch."

"Take two men and arrest him, throw him in a cell." grunted Augustus.

"Ay-Aye...m'lord..." stuttered the man, moving to go.

Augustus groaned, he had changed his mind at the last moment, as he knew he would.

"Oi, boy!" he shouted after the man.

"Aye, m'lord?" asked the guard, clearly anxious.

Augustus turned away from him as he spoke, a nearby fire crackling the only sound to be heard. He had known Drelik for decades, his most loyal retainer, most efficient soldier, most favored follower....

"Take four men." finished Augustus.

....and so of course, having known Drelik for so long, Augustus knew that two would not be nearly enough to take him.

He turned then, and began to write a correspondence to the High Sheriff's office, declaring that Drelik had been detained.

The Halls of the Dreadfort, lit with the fires of various torches and fireplace warm the dark halls, as you walk through, you feel an unfamiliar chill run through your spine, as feint screams are heard echoing from the dungeon, laughter, from the mead hall, and the clanking of armor from the barracks.

As the four men enter the mead hall of the Dreadfort, an iron plate, with a slab of half eaten pork and a dish of exquisite antipasta, scruffled, his bandana still strapped to his face, unsure of how the food is getting into his mouth, to his left, is a golden glass of wine. He looks up, grunting, and snorting as the four men approach.

He rolls his eyes, looking up, his face having grown a bit more old and wrinkled, minus the effort of the tatooes, his hair, a few strains having turned grey from the stress of work.

"Plenty o' mead to go around, spoil yerselves!" he says at this men at arms.

Drelik then reads the expression on the mens faces, sighing, and looking at his belt for a means of defending himself, he grips a hold of his dagger, as the men leap ontop of him, forcing him down to the ground.
