1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design, strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

“Step One: Notify a fellow Delver. Foreign sights and sounds? Might be dangerous, and I’m not one to be careless with the Strange and Unknown. Best have reinforcements ready lest I find myself trapped, maimed, or otherwise in peril.

Step Two: Investigate! It’s in the name, isn’t it? A Delver should Delve, whether it be exploring ruins, researching artifacts, or generally braving the Weird! Surveying the fringes of the ruin, I would gradually infiltrate further into its depths, noting anything worthwhile on my way through. And, if it begins to appear hazardous, leave. Leave and revisit the ruins later, better prepared, and with additional Delvers.

Step Three: Return home, preferably alive and unharmed, to the Delvers to share my findings. Sharing between colleagues is important, very mutualistic, it’s not like any one individual has time to explore all the world’s ruins and mysteries.”
 

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

“Honestly, I see no harm in politely asking for the information. I mean, surely this ‘Artifact’ can’t be so arcane, so guarded, to be mentioned candid enough for the likes of me to overhear. And I certainly don’t plan on eavesdropping, that’d be rude! But if, by some fortune, I unearth any useful information, I suppose my next action would be attempting to retrieve the ‘Artifact’ myself, or at least report it to a fellow Delver. That is to say if this ‘Artifact’ is a worthwhile pursuit, you never know, could be just another grifter swindling some poor bastard with their mystical ‘Anti-Balding Amulet’. Not every rumor is a profitable one.”

 

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a necromancer.

“Do Necromancers normally proclaim to the world that they’re Necromancers? I always imagined them to be a bit more self-respecting, a bit reclusive, a bit... Pale. Not some common highwayman. But however doubtful I’d be, I expect I’d have to arbitrate somehow, can’t just stand idle and gawk, I mean, not like I could help much, but it’s damn rude to stare. Obviously I’d hope to resolve the conflict peacefully, verbally, but rhetoric can only go so far, and I’m afraid I haven’t much else up my sleeves, so, regrettably, I’m unsure exactly how I’d resolve this. Too many variables I suppose. But, I can say I’d be eager to meet a true Necromancer. No foreseeable harm in that, right? Right, though I suppose Necromancers aren't the sort you can just invite home for tea...”

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,
strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

Leap walks over to the cave where he can hear the sounds coming from the cave. As he hides behind a rock he notices that there are some people in the cave. The people seemed to be mages working on some sort of spell. Since Leap hasn't been studying magic as he should he didn't have a clue what sort of magic they were using, but he didn't have a feeling that the magic they were using was for good intensions. So as he was being very curious he sneaked over to a spot closer to the hooded people. With closer inspection Leap noticed they were casting a spell over a dead body. The stench was awful. He know thought the men were necromancers. Without waiting any longer Leap takes out his bow and an arrow. as he draws the arrow back on the bow he aims for one of the three necromancer's heads. He shoots the bow and it hits one of them in the head Killing him or her. The others notice and quickly run. Leap inspects the rest of the area and takes his leave.

I try to sit closer to the two figures to get a better understanding of what they're saying if I'm interested in what they're saying I ask them what they're talking about, and sure enough they're talking about the artifact that they seem to call "the lost mina" around Abresi. Leap gets up from his chair and goes to a library near the bar and finds a book on this "lost mina"

but it was fairytale like something Leap's mother would read him when he was a lad. it says an arrogant mage turned one of his minas to solid gold, but the thieves were jealous that the mage had this special mina. So they tried to steal it from him and when he had finally had enough he buried the mina around abresi. As Leap goes around abresi looking for the mina he finally found and still has it keeping it a secret that he even found it.

 

 

 

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a
masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a
necromancer.

Leap looks over at the man with the sword and asks "Excuse me whats this all about?" The man looks at Leap and replies 

"this man here is a necromancer and must be executed!" "Have you seen him doing any dark magic that would prove he is a necromancer"Said Leap with a confused look on his face. "Well of course I have, do you think i just go around flailing my sword at people..."the man said sarcastically. As Leap is speaking with the man the claimed necromancer attempts to run.

Leap turns his head and sees the accused and runs while taking out his dagger. Eventually Leap tackles the accused and holds the dagger at the accused throat. "kill me it doesn't matter we will still come out on top" the accused says. "What do you me-" before Leap could finish his sentence the accused takes Leap's dagger and slits his own throat. As Leap gets up and stands in shock and awe about what just happend he was also thinking about the necromancer's last words.

strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

One day as I am sword practicing with a dummy in open land I tumble to the ground I had tripped and lost my grip on the sword. I therefore obviously went over to grab the sword. But it was not where I'd thought it would be. I started to look around from my point of view I traveled over a very small hill looking for it, this was no regular sword, it was my dead uncles. How I shall honor my uncle forever. Anyways as I am traveling I look around once more this time turning behind where I came from, I saw my sword right behind the dummy "Oh how stupid of me" I said to myself. As I'm walking back to retrieve it I see a light atop of a mountain with a steep cliff hanging down from the way I am facing it, I draw my bow to make sure it is not a enemy or bandit camp, therefor I continue to glance at it closely I see nothing except light, I decide to travel up there silently and sneakily to see what in the bloody hell is going on there. As I'm climbing carefully and swiftly I spot a stone pillar, I think myself "A ruin perhaps!" I gasp obviously this one hasn't been found as I finally get to the top. I found my own ruin! I peek in to the long hall awaiting inside I see the chests full of gold and mountains of coins. I gasp "I'm rich!" As I walk into the hall awaiting inside of the ruins I grab some of the coins in my pockets and some treasure. I start to be overcome by all the riches I decide to mark it on my map to bring my mates along next time to help carry and explore.

As I'm sitting in the local bar, I am eating some fresh food and I'm listening very well, for lots of rumors spread around bars, as I'm listening I hear two hooded figures in the corner whispering, even though with my keen hearing I still can not pick up what they are saying except the single word "Artifact". As I get up to get a little closer without frightening them. I hear another few words they say "Want" "Buy" "340". I calmly and casually walk over as I say "I heard your conversation.. what is this Artifact you are sellin' sir?" the man turns to me somewhat scared as he reveals from his hand a very odd shaped twisted piece of a gold "This.". I scan the weird object "Aye very nice.." "How much ye selling it for?" the man answers "340 minas." I sniff "That's sure a bit of money." "I shall pass." he nods and goes back to talking to the other figure.

As I'm walking down Anthos highway I see two people one masked and one with a sword at hand with a hood I peer at them trying to figure out what is going on. I hear a few words "I am a necromancer, you better run, or I'll kill you with me minions" I chuckle what a dumb person.

I go over to the hooded figure, "You'll have 'o fight me first" I wait a few seconds chuckling "Hm wheres your undead minions?" the man sighs softly and quietly "You just wait you'll be killed in no time!" I chuckle to myself as I carry on down the road "What the hell has gotten in to people?"

strange sounds and lights emanate from within.  Durakk Irongut blinks heavily. He takes a peek inside the ruin. He runs back to the Delver Keep. "Everyone! Ah found a ruin! It's got lights an sounds common from it!" The Delvers go to the ruin and search it for artifacts.

Well who doesn't love a fun adventure. And what are we as living beings without knowledge. And no man seeks to be alone. So aye, Adventure, knowledge and companionship are all things I seek and hope to find with the delvers

When the day comes that my magic has reached a certain degree of proficiency, I would hope to be a Delver Air mage / Delver Mystic.

 

What combat skills have ye?  

 

I won't lie, I posses no level of skill with a blade, nor has my magic reached a stage where I can consider it a combat skill. However, I am, if I do say so myself, rather proficient in hand to hand combat, something I have trained in for quite some time now.  I prefer to box, but if I find myself without my thin leather gloves and don't feel like breaking knuckles, I am more than capable of fighting with elbows and knees.

Jonathan is brave, often brash, very curious but he is no fool. His instincts would be screaming at him to go in, but his practical side would win over and he would instead mark the location in whatever way he could and come back with some friends. After all, entering a strange ruin with no weapons but your fists is fool hardy to say the least.

Jonathan has a slight habit of getting involved in others business if he finds it interesting. So, Jonathan would probably move to a table closer to the duo, pretending to be drunk so as to avoid suspicion. He would then do his best to listen in on the conversation and work on from there.

Decided to do this one as an in game style thing

Masked man: Are you scared? You should be! I am a necromancer!

Jonathan Elers eyes narrow and he reaches behind his back to where his trusty leather gloves are tucked into his belt

Hooded figure: Please, take what you want and leave me alone

Jonathan Elers approaches the masked man from behind, who is to busy with his prey to notice

Hooded figure's eyes widen in surprise as he spots Johnny

Masked man frowns and begins to turn around

Jonathan Elers lets loose a powerful right hook, his whole body turning in to it, hoping to catch the man on his exposed jaw as he turns

Masked mans eyes widen in shock but is too slow in raising his hands and is knocked out cold

Jonathan Elers nudges the unconscious body with a toe "He should be out for a while"

Jonathan Elers: I hate bloody necromancers. Although id be willin to bet this bloke wasn't even a necromancer. But that just makes him a bandit which is almost as bad
