Toby nods, thinking a bit "We're going to go into more detail about how electricity in itself works.~"

 

Toby walks over to one side of the room, pulling over a large anvil with a loud grunt. Soon after he goes back to the same side, grabbing a long, iron pole and sitting it upright.

 

"Right, which one will electricity go to first?"

The Story Teller looks over at Art and Toby chuckling

 

"Making more sparks are we?"

He sits down watching the pair begin the lesson, highly intrigued

Art rubs his chin.

 

"...The rod. I don't know why. I just know it's the rod..."

Toby smirks as he answers incorrectly

 

"No, it would be drawn to the anvil before the pole. They're made of the same material, but electricity is drawn more heavily to more metal."

 

Toby moves the pole so its 5 meters away from the anvil, creating a bolt originally going towards the pole, it quickly curving against his will into the anvil, small blue sparks appearing inches over it before dissipating.

 

"Next question, how does it form the easiest?"

"To the person who is most accustomed the to element and it's existance in the void..." He answers, hiding some uncertainty in his voice.

Toby hears his response, thinking

 

"Close. One of the easiest ways would be static, remeber those wool pads? That took only a moment and you don't have to know much about the element.  How does drawing an element forth from the void work? I know you know this, but I need to make sure."

Why do you wish to join the Delvers?: I have spent too much time alone, without company, living a boring, and sad life of a beggar. I need a group o' people to adventure with and give a meaning to my life! I strive to discover the meaning of my life, but I feel like I cannot do this alone!


Have you belonged to any faction or guild before?: I have been alone on the roads feeding on breadcrumbs and filthy water; no faction or guild has wanted me' company.


List three words that a guild needs to function and survive: Order, Compassion and Loyalty


In your own words describe what you think a delve is: I think a delve can be many things and applied to the topic tha' is bein' discussed! An arcane delver, an explorer of that which is arcane. A delve is an explorer, an unraveller of mystery, a fearless adventurer!


If you found an artifact and that artifact could do anything. What would it do?: If I got me' 'ands on one of 'em mighty artifacts, I think it woul' be nice for it ta reveal information about past civilisations. We ain' had much up until now 'bout tha lands we're livin' in, so it'd be nice ta know!

Cyrus holds his head low over his desk, still recovering from his broken nose. Since he had entered his room, he had really done nothing but stare at the cracked stone of his desk. As he runs his finger along a crack, something catches the corner of his eye. An unfamiliar paper lies there- in fact it was an application.

"Mr Koldor..." He mumbles to himself, his eyes scanning over the parchment. Then, he sets the paper down and draws a blank one from the blank stack beside him. He pens

'Dear Mr Koldor,

Your application has been reveiwed and found acceptable. I admire particularly the last answer that you gave, seeing as not much is known about the land that we inherited. Nonetheless, you are now to report to our humble ruins of Ac'talareh, where you will be given an initiation task. We expect to see you soon. Until then, may you fare well and may yours be the path of good fortune.

Upon finishing the letter, he waves it in the air to dry the fresh ink. Then, he folds it neatly and seals it with a bit of melted wax. Later that day he would take it to the aviary and send it back to Koldor.

Drake grunts, stumbling across the ruins before seeing both Toby and Art, he grunts, the area around him litten by a glowstone near him, floating around, as he grumbles

 

"Keep the vocation down please...I'am trying to study the earthen."

Why do you wish to join the Delvers?

I wish to join the delvers so that I may spread peace and knowledge throughout all of Anthos. To be able and teach all that evil is not such a good thing and to not conduct any villainous acts. I also wish to join because I have heard many great things about the Arcane Delvers and wish to join in on the fun RP that is the Delvers. Lastly I wish to join because my character wants to be a member of a group that actually does something good, and does stuff. Rather than just a group that commits to random acts of anything and aren't really active.

Faltrezan has not belonged to any guild/faction before. (I have on other characters that will be non-delver)

To investigate or research into something such as a scientific study and whatnot.

"Now, would the bolt go to the anvil or the gate first?"

"I would guess the anvil." He says, tapping his chin. "But only due to the density of the iron itself. It must outweigh the total amount that makes up the gate."
