Mithradites 1168 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Rain pattering down on the windows. Infinitival droplets trickling down the glass in a cacaphoney of light and mellow tones. Fourteen run down through the center of the pane itself like the lakewater upon the mountainside. Their movement is slow. More of them continue to stream down. Difficult to discern the number. Illogical to attempt. Activity purposeless. Room is dark. Candles remain unlit. Soft light pours through the glass. Blue tinge. Outside view foggy. Presumably the same prior to rain. Paper upon the table. White and clean with a singular corner bent upwards. A letter. Words in clean, black ink--penmanship dubious. Odd slant. Possibly left-handed individual. Information. "Lucion Sullas has been voted the Sohaer of the Enclave of Haelun'or." Further words within. Irrelevant to current thinking. Disregard excess. Activity purposeless. Droplets touch. Droplets trickle. Droplets fall beyond the pane. Emotional response negligible Proper response--missing the clutter of emotional extravagance Not a difficult election. Only candidate for Sohaer. Merely re-assertion of support. Activity purposeless. Duties changed only slightly. Title irrelevant. Droplets touch. Droplets trickle. Droplet fall beyond the pane. Relevant information. Delonna Aeleyelsa--long-time active citizen. Past actions traitorous. Forgiven of trespasses. Travesty. Hampered by terrible reputation within the city. Appears to have great support regardless. Further observation required. Kalenz Uradir--seemingly intelligent. Rash. Seeks out death and violence as a means to an end. Barbaric. Likely a problem in the future. Possible problem currently. Identifies with murderous magical factions. Likely untrustworthy. Further observation required. Plan in motion. Civilian populous confused. Unfocused. Illogical. Droplets touch. Droplets trickle. Droplet fall beyond the pane. Centralisation of power necessary for maehr'sae hiylun'ehya to be fostered efficiently. Referendums inefficient in hands of citizenry. Must be removed. Worthless without logical thought. Activity purposeless. Return to previous governance necessary. Removal of all defunct Tilruir reforms of Ellir'siol. Wipe from collective memory. Notions of ultimate freedom unneeded in what is fundamentally free. Has one been logical? Should one re-evaluate his thoughts? Activity purposeless.
Supremacy 3361 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Kalenz had counted and recounted the votes. For he classified very few elves other than himself as both trustworthy and competent. Lucion was competant, though perhaps not trustworthy. Delonna was trustworthy though perhaps not competent. The two made for an interesting balance, but balance was irrelevant to Kalenz. The high elf clad in white had far more important things to set his mind to than simply idle thoughts about the other hieal'thilln members. The results of the election did not surprise him. This more than likely being a result of his own personal brand of narcissism. However, those words would never be ones he would chose to describe himself with. After all, it wasn't narcissism if he was indeed perfect, was it? For years he had watched the purity of the mali'aheral wax and wane like the cycles of the moon. Growing at times before weakening once again. It was an infuriating cycle, particularly at the days of the dark moon. The time in which Kolyat Alfakyn had ruled over Malinor was this time. To Kalenz liberalism was a disease. A cyst which had to be removed for the betterment of the whole. This cyst had grown for too long, its seed propagating and spreading about the body of the mali'aheral. An outrage. Not to be repeated. This position as medi'iran would assure such. To Kalenz purity was assured. The liberals would become extinct. Those who opposed him would have to be re-educated or would simply become fuel for the pyres.
MrSyth 636 Share Posted May 9, 2013 "The entrances are blocked." "Leyuan. Looks like no one will disturb us for now."Silvos aimlessly walks through the laboratory, talking to Silvos."Isn't it amusing? Just when we thought we finally lived somewhere where the people are just like us, they aren't. It's happened in the past, and it's going to happen again, I'm sure." "Yes, but what can we do about it? Move again? Seclude ourselves?" "Where are we, Silvos. What have we done?" "Seclusion it is... I can't believe they elected the impure." "You can't? I thought we'd agreed they're all fools. Fools just like the ones in Alras. Just like the ones in Laurelin." "I guess you're right. Gah."Books, pillars and bricks fly through the laboratory, vortexing in the center."Look how stong we've become, Silvos. Look at what we can do. We don't need them." "We can... yes. We've mastered the golems. We have..." Silvos looks at his gruesome, silver hands. "Look at those things. They did it to you. It did it to you." "We didn't need them anyway. We have enough abilities to replace them. They were weak, just like the rest of this body." "We were stronger... physically. Blade was. He would've cri-" "Stop it, you moron. Blade has been gone since the day we threw that outfit in the river. He's not coming back." "I still have the outfit." "That's... impossible. We-" "You thought so. It's irrelevant though, we wouldn't be able to handle it anymore. Now what will we do about our body?" "We need to improve. The mali'aheral have proven a body of flesh and blood can still be worthless when it's held by a careless and sufferable mind. That's why we're going to improve it. Just like our hands, we can cleanse ourselves..." "That's insane!" "That's usssss."The vortex grows. Research papers fly along bricks, flying along wooden plates along with knives and glass objects. In the center, stands Silvos. At once, the vortex breaks and all items smash themselves into the walls of the laboratory. It doesn't break."We'll be fine, Silvos. Let's start cleaning up. Lucion will rid us of Delonna, and we'll get that position. We'll stand along Kalenz. At least his mind hasn't been corrupted yet." "Kalenz is too young to understand. He did not even see Aegis..." "Yet we can mold him in the right direction. And so will we mold Lelien, and Acaele." "Lucion will be glad. We'll all be. The rest of the cihi might already have sunk too deep." "What about Hileia? What will she do?" "She'll do as she always has. Stay our ignorant puppet."Broken items disappear underneath the bricks in the floor. Hissing is heard. Books and papers reorganize themselves, and fly back into their shelves. Pillars stack up to once again become the supports of the laboratory. Soon, the place is back to normal, except for the covered up entrances."Let them stay. We need some time to think. This conversation isn't over yet." "Leyuan. Looks like no one will disturb us now." ((This all happened in a secluded area, not to be seen or heard by anyone. 'Tis merely a post I made to describe Silvos's current thoughts like the others.))
Lawrna 440 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Lelien lies next to the sweetly sleeping Acaele. Yet sleep doesn’t seem to grasp her in its tendrils of dreams.
