Recommended Posts

Hiebe Irongut, dwarf of over 800 years old, fallen ascended, lord, king...twice, father, brother, rises out of his hole he has locked himself in. Since leaving much has changed but he is still up on the current happening due to his brother, Alfy, coming to him and sharing the gossip. Hiebe's beard has grown longer and greyer. His eye deepen with experience he has gained from his long trainings in the Kal Verak. He walks back to the capital through the tunnels. Staff clicking the ground in one hand and The Hammer of Urguan slung around his back he is followed by Alfy and Alfred, both younger and far better with combat then their now much older brother.

Hiebe arrives in the capital of Kal Azgoth, seeing MUCH has changed he goes to the tavern and is met with much love from his clansmen who now run the bar. He looks around and pity grows on his face. Dwarves have changed much from the world of Aegis and he now goes to find the king.

Hiebe enters the Throne room and sit on the throne is King Thorin Grandaxe. Surround by his younglings of lords.

"King Thorin and Lords of Kal Azgoth, I come tu ye tuday tu pea tu ye all and da dwarves people to return to our ol days of living underground with a soild roof over our heads. Long now has da dwarven people been susceptible to the surface and its dangers. Tu long 'ave we live overland dealin with surfacers and der bullshit. We dwarves we born underground birthed by our clan paragons and originally Urguan who live underground himself.

We dwarves are devided overland. Too much we care bout the surface but wat does it 'old fer us? Land? Ores? Food? Wat we dwarves truely need are da ores ove da earth and the beating of a hammer on armor. We dunne need tu 'old land overland, isnt dat why we 'ave da vassals dat live der? Dey run da overland and we run the deep. We 'ave lost our ol ways and now we are spread and lost. Most dwavres dunne follow da gods, most ove da unes whu du are elders and 5th generation dwarves.

I ask ye all, bring our people back. Call for them populate our tunnel and the capital and make it full. Allow the surfacers to run our overland and let us expand underneath. We need our people united under une 'ouse and nay spread out all over. We dwarves 'ave even built dammed BOATS? Dwarves are nae built to swim an onleh a stark would want to go unto a ship wlly nilly. Aye we sailed frum Aegis an Asulon but dat was forced!

Surfacers 'ave only caused trouble fer us. When 'ave we been most safe? In Kal Urguan, a carved city underground. Kal Karik and other underground city. Im sure ders nay more dragons ere I can promise ye dat, der all dead as we see from the bones. Dis is what we need, let dem beat der 'eads on our doors. Let dem beak upon our walls like water on a dam. We are strong and steadfast but only once we are united in one front."

Hiebe now out of breath leans on the hammer and bit more but the fire still burns in his eyes.

Looks at Hiebe, frowning, and mutters to himself "Well, ah swore ah'd call meself Irongut w'en ye cayme back. . .bot aftah wut da Clan 'as dune to etself, ah doubt ah even wunt ta remoind meself uv meh Ironguttiness." He strokes his dual braided beard running from his chin down to his waist, his light grey-ish skin of his mother's kin gleaming in the torchlight of Kal'Azgoth. "Ah'd suuner claim meself un true Ironborn den call meself Irongut afteh wut surt uv dorves 'ave tayken uver eur once grand clan." Kardel walks out of the king's chamber, throwing a gaze at Kazarek, exchanging grins with him, as he continues walking down the halls of the stone city, and outside the gates, to his hold of Vaerhaven.

(Kairn does not hear of this conversation, as he wandering through the Witch wood around Lenfarthing with a group of rangers, but he does feel a pang of loneliness and depression from spending so long a time outside the Fiery hearths of Kal'Azgoth.)

Dizzy stands in a corner of the large hall preforming his guard duties. He stands impassively listening to the proceedings. Knowing that trying to re-merge the Dwarven folks in such a way would be very difficult, if not impossible Dizzy says nothing. Seeing both Kardel and Kazarek he nods briefly to them before watching Kardel make his exit.

"I wonder 'ow dis will go down than eh?" He mutters to himself.

Drawing himself back up he shifts his thoughts back to his duties. He decides that, for now, he shall wait to see what story unfolds....

*Stands in the Throne Room and looks at Kjell, his eyes wide with distaste, keeping quiet until after he speaks*

"Shall we talk uv 'ypocrites then, brother? Might I ask 'ow many ways ye've disrespected yer own title uv Paragon in favor uv insulting Armakak? Per'aps yer disgraces in front uv Anbella serve ye differently in yer memory? Regardless uv yer foolish actions, 'iebe as a point. Past experiences allow 'im te see the foolishness uv 'is old ways uv livin' outside an' 'e wishes te fix the problems around us. So if yeh don't 'ave anything constructive te say an' yeh just wish te spout yer mouth off, per'aps then we 'ave a reminder uv why ye no longer stand as Grand Marshall. Feel free te look fer a doctor within our citeh er per'aps remind us why the only doctor uv Dwarven blood lives outside our walls?"

*Scoffs as Kjell and walks toward the gate and toward Salvus, passing Kardel and peering at him on the way out as well*
