Improved Electricity Guide

First connection, as if you already made a void connection, you wouldn't need to make one again, I would assume.

It takes you several days to a week to make your first connection, and even then, simply connecting will totally exhaust the character. From there, it will be a few weeks to be able to make the smallest of things, and that's if you regularly connect at the least once a day from that point.

You can speed it up if you so wish, but that's my general guide.

So meditation is in fact, a viable connection means to the void? (my character meditates whenever I get the chance to have him just sit)

When you start, it is the /only/ way to connect to the void. Again, it will leave you exhausted and likely fainted for the first 3+ times, and after that, still horribly exhausted.

Where is a Electricity teacher?

You'll have to find us / them via RP mate, apologies.

Where is a Electricity teacher?

You can post a sign on the trade forum. As long as it's in character and such. You can usually find people that way the fastest.

Now my question is if electricity evocation would be as good or better at escaping sticky situations than fire evocation. You gotta think of the utility.

I am unsure as to what your question is, sadly.

Depends on the situation, really. Electricity generally takes longer to cast than other evocations so if you need to make a quick escape that may be counterproductive.

I don't get it, how can a electromancer "call down" a lightning bolt from the sky? Wouldn't that mean they are using the elements already their? Also if the conjure it at the sky rather than controlling it, how can they evoke lightning so high?

This is kind of outdated, I'll fix it soon.

And also, no, they are not utilizing elements, they conjured lightning from above the sky to imitate a bolt. And this is with extremely high mastery, and it has **** aim at Tier 4 especially. And..how can they not?

Well it's souns to me is that they are conjuring lightning far over their head, which I feel seems strange knowing that fire evocationists can only conjure a fire a few feet from their body, meaning they can't summon a fire high above their head or the sky.

I do not know who told you that fire evos could only summon a few feet away from their body, but it is incorrect. What I have been told, all void magic has an effective range of 15 meters or 15 blocks, and anything past that will expend much more mana. The bolt in the sky is using so much mana anyways that it ends up not being an issue. That is what I have always seen it as and been told it was.

Sorry for the confusion, but I meant summoning a large fire, basically as big a fire a fire evocationist can create without dying, which, to my belief can't be summoned as far as 15 blocks away. Still I find it very if-y that this can be done, even with it causing to much mana and being near useless, because it seems to go against evocation rules, as it is says: "call down lightning" up from the sky which seems as though you are controlling it and also going up to the sky, which is far, far, far above 15 meters. Anyways, thanks for answering some questions.

I believe that was put in by the guide writer purely with the expectation of a magic plugin. Lightning is easily controlled in MC so that would be a very simple spell to code for the masters of electrical evocation. Where it sits in terms of accuracy to canon is, as you said, iffy.
