The Beginning Of The End

The night had been long and unusual. Cold and frosty. In the shadowy alleys of Salvus, rim covered the walls. The sun had just risen from its slumber, and now shone down upon the city once again. Slowly, the people emerged from their houses, still weary and tired after the cold and restless night that they had to endure. It all seemed like just another beginning of a day, but something was different. The winds had not yet settled from last night, and swept rapidly through the streets. The gusts still brought with them a cold air, but something else as well. Notes. Notes, that had been littered all over the city during the night. Notes written in blood, and they were everywhere. Pinned to walls, lying around in the streets, and even some littered on the rooftops. The citizens whispered to themselves as they stood around the Lion Statue, inspecting a single note pinned to it. All the notes looked the same, a big fist in the middle, and a single word next to it:

"Change."

Whatever the notes could mean, there was certainly a thought behind them. Only time can tell, and whether that time closes in, fast or not, remains a mystery.

Prince Henry steps out of his manor and notices a flyer. Picking it up he stares blankly at it "Change..." he says blankly as he looks around at the peculiar weather. Murmuring to himself he says "Why would people want to change Oren.... Horen  has ushered in a new age of growth and prosperity, in fact, Oren has extremely affordable homes and shops in Abresi with basically no taxes." He shrugs lightly before turning and walking inside his home "Probably just another hypocritical rebellion that wishes to change Oren or replace Horen with a king which almost defeats the point of this whole 'change' thing."

Hadrian reads the word "Who would waste his minas making this many flyers... and whose blood..." He picks up a flyer and examines it closer. "What kind of change, I wonder."

Lerin wonders how anyone would put up so many letters without someone noticing them at all, seeing as their all over the place. He then starts to tear them down and throw them in the furnace at the palace.

*Beth sees the note flapping from under the Archdiamond door and takes it into her hands, scanning over it briefly.*
"Change.."
*Beth ponders the word for a few seconds before looking back down at the note, crumpling it up and throwing it away before walking on into the Square*
"Must be lunatics on the rampage again.."
