Another haiku is pinned to the council chamber door:

The terms have been set,

Debt of blood shall be repaid,

Hieal'mali we wait.

The Bird Druid sees the note, reading it over a few times. He mutter to himself,

"Ah, at least they wrote a proper haiku this time..."

Titania wanders to the council chambers, the lingering effects of a seemingly mild illness hanging about her like a cloud. Upon reaching the bridge to the chambers, she spots the note. Narrowing her eyes, she steps forward to gaze upon the small message, taking the note off the pin and taking a closer look. She emits an almost inaudible growl at the familiar phrase 'Hieal'mali'. She turns the message over to check for any more text, before lifting her gaze to the canopy and emitting a troubled, almost annoyed sigh as a small gust of wind blows through the forest.

"Yet again I have come to this position where it appears I am required repay a debt which is not mine to repay..." Titania mumbles to herself, her words curl away with the wind. She lowers her gaze back to the note, shaking her head. "I have many to speak to, it seems..."

With that, she repins the note for anybody else to see, and descends the stairs almost silently as her mind begins to whirl about in thought.

Examines the note, leaning in and scrutinizing it heavily.  His nose twitches as he leans back and sighs, speaking to his companion.  "It's a note alright.  Just look at that paper!"   A tawny owl hoots at him in reponse.  The Druid rubs his chin.

"Yes, right, I guess it also says something.  Well let us have a look!"  He bends forward once more to read it.  As he mutters the words, he speaks observantly, "You know, Whotin, say what ye want about the High Elves, and how they want to slaughter the Druii, but just look at that penmanship!"   Cackling he reaches over and ruffles the bird's feathers before setting off from the council chambers.

"I suppose an Elder Druid would be of some use now, eh...?"
