In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Piecer Rek Sederth

Current Age: 21

Sub-race (if any): [None]

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Piecer was born into a modern family in Anthos in a small village within Oren. His father and mother were both survivors of Asulon. His mother would tell Piecer about the beauty of Asulons' fertile plains, and the soft and brisk feel of the blessed Tundra. The name "Piecer" skips a generation and is given to the first-born son of the family. His middle name, Rek, holds great value within the family but is unknown why. Piecer's mother taught him simple math and how to read, which Piecer often had trouble with. Eventually he understood most of it and was able to understand the current events that was taking place in the newly forming land.

On Piecer's 13th birthday his father gave him a bow and a dagger that had been passed down since his Great-Great-Grandfather. The bow was engraved with many markings of creatures and people. The dagger, according to his father, was used to carve these markings over the generations. Now, it was Piecer's turn. Piecer stared at the knife and bow for a long time, and then, he carved. He carved what he imagined Asulon's plains and snow covered forests looked like. He carved the animals to, chickens and cows and pigs. He told his father he wished they could go back, back into Asulon, away from Anthos. But the question had only one answer, and he knew it.

At age 16 Piecer had become quite skilled with the bow and arrow his father gave him. He went out to hunt everyday and brought back food for dinner and game to sell. Every day he carved some more of what he though Asulon looked like onto his bow. At age 19 his father died. He had gone hunting one night and had not returned. The day after Piecer's family found at he had drowned while swimming across a river-it is unknown how he drowned. Piecer was deeply upset, along with his mother. They buried his body, said their prayers to the Lord that He may take care of the soul. The family was in mourning and grief for the next month, only to be followed by a greater tragedy.

I saw them come from all directions. The night sky was ablaze with fire, the fire of houses, and...and people. My people, my friends, my family..my mother. I watched her be burned alive inside my home. I will never forget this memory, the day the bandits attacked my village. I don't know why they did it, I never will. They had no intention, just to burn the city to the ground and slaughter everyone in it. I was in the safety of the forest, returning home from my daily hunt. I did not expect to find this. I wish I could have down something, but I was only 17, what could I have done?
No, I could have done something. I could have killed all the bandits that came that night! But that's the problem, I could have. I can't change the past, but I can change my future.

Piecer now has no family, and is wandering the lands of Anthos. He still has his bow and the dagger his father gave him. But now, its a burden that he cannot get rid of. He must keep it, for his families sake. He is looking for a guild, preferably one in archery, that would welcome him as family and a place he can call home once again.

Ambitions for the Future: Explore, find a guild that Piecer can call Family and Home.

Personality: Shrouded, sympathetic, mix of courage and caution.

Skills: Archery, hunting

____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: *Piecer sees the man approaching the palace, looks around at the nearby guards*

*Without making a scene, walks quickly the nearest guard*

Guard: "Halt, stranger"

Piecer: "Forgive my hastiness, but a clothed man is heading into our Emperor's palace. I suspect he is up to no good.."

Guard: *Looks around and spots the man, then turns back to Piecer* "Thank you stranger. Guards! Follow me!"
Piecer: *Piecer watches for a little as the man is searched, then turns around and heads back to the market to sell his pelts*

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: Piecer: *Walks up to the trio of strangers* "Forgive me for intruding, but what is the problem may I ask?"

Bandit: *Attempts to act like a tax collector* "This man refuses to pay his taxes to his king"

Old man: "Liar! You want to rob me of everything and then burn my beloved home!"

Piecer: *Looks from the group of bandits to the Old Man and back again* "Your bandits and you can't deny it. I recommend getting out of here before I call the guards that are with me as we speak."

Bandit: *Looks to his partner and nods, the two of them run into the cover of the forest and escape*

Old Man: "You lied, there are no guards around here..."

Piecer: "Your right, I bluffed. I couldn't fight them on my own and you can barely swing that sword of yours."

Old Man: "But what if they didn't believe you, and they killed you and took my money and burned my house anyway?"
Piecer: "But they didn't though, did they?"

Old Man: *Considers this* "I still do not believe it was the wisest choice, but thank you. You saved my home."

Piecer: *Nods and continues heads back into the forest*

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: Man: "Well hello there, young man. Come to see what ye' can buy?"

Piecer: "I may, depends on what ye' be selling."

Man: "I assure you I have anything you may need."

Piecer: *Thinks for a moment* "Well, if what you say is true, you will have some  47 iron-tipped arrows for me?"

Man: "Why sure boy. Iron tipped, hmm. Hows' bout 57 minas'?"

Piecer: "Hows bout' 32 instead?"

Man: "But thats no-"

Piecer: *Cuts him off* "32 minas' is my offer. Do you want it or not?"

Man: *Considers* "Gah fine, boy." *Gives Piecer the new bow and takes the 20 minas'*

Piecer: "I will pay you 8 minas' for a new arrow sheathe as well."

Man: "Why must you always go below the average prices of my good stock?"

Piecer: "Because you said you had not set prices. Bargain or not?"

Man: *Smiles slightly* "I'll be more careful with my words next time..here you go." *Hands Piecer his new arrow sheath and takes the 8 minas'*

Piecer: "Thank you, sir." *Walks off*
