Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing: Role-playing is when you take on a role in another 'world' (game). You play as this character, and don't take on your own self. It's an interesting take on gaming, and quite fun!
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is when you use info from outside the game world in the game, and is generally not a good idea in RPG games because it ruins the effect.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is using emotes to force an action upon another player, without giving them the choice to do so. Generally this has a negative effect. For example: "Player 1 destroys Player 2" The second player cannot change this, and that is not a good way of roleplaying.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Kristian von Craw
Current Age: 23
Sub-race (if any): Unknown
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Have you ever been rejected?

Have you ever been pushed away for something that is of no fault of your own? This is what Kristian has dealt with his entire life. Born in the village of Ager, he was quickly abandoned because of a hideous birthmark. This mark was a sickly pink that he could not hide, covering his face, hands, chest, and other areas. Raised by no one, he grew up begging on the streets. He sought solace with the creatures of the rivers and ponds outside the village. For this, he was nicknamed "The Crawfish" (he later changed this to "von Craw"). By the age of 10, he was thrown out, chased by many people who thought he was a orc, demon, or worse. For years he traveled from village to village, scavenging what he could get at any time.

This continued for quite a time, until Kristian met someone new, someone he could be around. His name was Robard, nothing else was ever grabbed. Robard was a thief, a scoundrel, chased out of his village like Kristian was his. He did not mind Kristian's mark, and he actually found it quite interesting. He taught Kristian the ways of the sword, and Kristian quickly mastered it. He named his sword Slice... simple, and not too menacing (They would never see it coming). And while Robard taught Kristian to fight, Kristian taught Robard to care. Robard did not rob after he met Kristian... they found jobs wherever they could go, trying to amass money for a life on their own. Robard and Kristian made a living for a while, begging, finding jobs, and dueling to survive. Life was perfect.

But this didn't last forever. Kristian and Robard had been on the road for about 2 years. Kristian was now 14, and had amassed quite a reputation. They were traveling in the wilds, hoping to build a house with the tools and money and materials they had gained over the years. In the forests, they traveled peacefully, sleeping under the stars. However, one day while they were walking, they were beset upon by Nomad Orcs. A whole raiding party attacked them, killing Robard, and leaving Kristian for dead. He awoke to find his sword gone, his materials and money stolen, and his whole body in pain. From that day on he swore revenge for Robard on all Orcs, and would always look for a way to kill or hurt one.

Back in the Holy Oren Empire, Kristian found his life without purpose. He decided he would try to find a way to protect his nation against foreign threats, even though he had been turned out. He needed to show the world that he was not a freak, he was in fact a hero.

Ambitions for the Future: Kristian hopes to serve the Empire in every way possible, protect the Emperor, join the guards, and defeat many Orcs. Minor goals include finding a new sword, finding a home, and maybe finding new friends.
Personality: Kristian is a man who holds morals in high esteem, and is slow to anger. He will take a while to look at the situation, trying to find the reason for a person's actions. He will always try to make friends, never hurting anyone intentionally. The only reason he will kill is if threatened himself, or if the situation involves Orcs. While not a knight, he will always be honorable.
Skills: Sword-fighting, diplomacy, and toughness from living on his own for a long while.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Kristian is of human stature, but his body is covered in a mark that covers his head, hands, chest, and neck. His hair is red-black, eyes dark, and mouth tight.   http://imgur.com/WKLMhVB (I could not put the picture directly in... it is at the link.)

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Despite his appearance, Kristian is still a human... he acts human, lives with humans, and is always a human at heart.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: The first thing I would do is find out what the figure is doing. Even though it looks like he is up to no good, calling attention to the guards would not help, as they would take me as the villain. I would follow the figure through the capital, and if he tries to make his way into the palace, confront him. If the figure is armed I duel him with honor, calling attention to the area as well as possibly defeating him. Using my sword, I will defeat him and bring him to justice. This is how the confrontation would go:

Kristian: I have been following you for quite some time. Tell me your purpose.

Figure: ...

Kristian: Tell me at once. I do not attack for no reason.

Figure: I care not.

Kristian: So be it. You leave me no choice.

At this point, I would go into my fighting stance, and charge at the figure. Shall he run, he will be taken down, for there is no honor in fleeing. Shall he fight, I will parry his first charge, duck, and run around him. Whilst I run around him and he turns to face me, I continuously hit him with my sword. Then, once he is weak, I will knock him out with the flat edge of my sword. Then, I shall bring him in as an enemy to the Empire.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: There is no honor in harassing the elderly. I would go up and take in the situation, talking to the people who appear to be harassing the old man. This is how it would go:

Kristian: How goes it, friends? What are you doing here?

Bandit: Leave, freak.

Kristian: I will ignore that comment. Leave the old man alone.

Bandit: How about we don't? Look, freak, just scra-

At this point, he will no longer be living, since my blade will be lodged in his throat. I doubt whilst in the middle of talking he will be ready to parry. As he falls to the ground, gurgling for life, I face the other member of the bandit pair, showing him I can do the same if he wants it. If he does not leave, I shall duel him, blocking his axe/sword strokes, and making dents in his armor. Then, when he is at his weakest, I will let him go... for he did not do any wrong to me like his accomplice. Then, to the old man, I will say:

Kristian: Take the weapons of the bandits, you will need it to defend yourself. If you need anything, ask, and I will give it to you.

From this point on I will tend to the old man until he is well or I will bring him to a town if he so wishes.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: My only interest would be a better sword, for without a great sword I may have trouble finding work or helping people out. Food may also be of interest. I will bring the price to the lowest I can without cheating the man out of a deal. The way this would go is I would approach the situation nicely, slowly bringing down the price with jokes and nice talk. This is how it would go:

Kristian: How goes the day, friend?

Salesman: Quite well. What do you want? I have anything and everything.

Kristian: I seek a sword. What do you have?

Salesman: I have this one right here... the finest iron blade... what do you want to buy it with?

Kristian: Oh, this is a terrrrrrrible model. You couldn't let it go for more than... 50 Minas!

Salesman: Hahaha... I think not.

Kristian: Okay, what would YOU like for it.

Salesman: I make money at 45 Minas.

Kristian: You won't be able to sell it for more than what I am offering, to be honest with you. Tell you what, I will give you 55 Minas if you throw a few pieces of bread. It's a good deal.

Salesman: Alright. (Hands me the sword)

Kristian: This is a good sword... I thank you for selling it to me.

Salesman: Haha, no problem.

Kristian: Have a good day!

Salesman: Yes, you too!

Judging by the application, I'd say you clearly know what you're doing. Be aware, LoTC is not a RPG, and is therefore much different, but you seem to understand this quite well. Please wait to be implemented, as this can take some time, and if you ever need any assistance, shoot me a PM, or look for a mentor in-game, using /mentor.
