Boy Looking For Work

*A note is written in smuggy charcoal on grubby old torn piece of low quality paper. As it flutters in the wind it appears the note is written on an advertisement for a place called "Gritty Jim's Pub and Funhouse" whatever that is. The note is written in a smuggy uneven script that shows that inability of the write and possible because of his young age. It reads*

 

"I am a boy of sixteen, set out from home in search of a new life. I have few skills beyond week pulling, firewood splinting, fence mending, and cooking poorly,simple farmhouse skills, but I wish to learn. If anyone is  looking for perhaps an apprentice or a soldier, maybe a guard, I am looking for stable work to learn skills or a trade."
