Month 1: Snow's Maiden

Month 2: Malin's Welcome

Month 3: The First Seed

Month 4: The Grand Harvest

Month 5: Sun's Smile

Month 6: The Amber Cold

Month 7: The Deep Cold

If the seasons are longer than a year with this system, then you'll have summer months called "The Amber Cold" and winter months called "Sun's Smile."

Elindor's month system and the GOT-ish seasons! I think that just having winter and summer would be great as in the winter the Northerner antagonists could have the better advantage and could approach into the Southern lands. And in the Summer the Southerner's could have the better advantage, and could drive the Northerner's back. ((I agree with what Matt said pretty much.))

I may be alone in my thoughts. But I do prefer to keep to August, April, May, September. Simply for simplicity rather than complexity. If those who wish to adapt, can. Yet those who don't want to learn more and more for a bit of originally simply-gained immersion, can also do that without need for memorizing them all. Some people, like I, are just not that dedicated enough to remember whatever seasons or months we've had in the past.
