Hush, Sweetheart, Just Sleep

Clavonita burst into Aron's room, her expression sad as she looked at her father on the bed with his wife.

"I have something to say!" she exclaimed. "I grew up my whole life without a father, raised in the woods by Kylar. And when I finally got one, I was rejected and resented by him! I have always tried to make you proud, dad, but I can never seem to be able to do it! I don't care what you think about me, but I still love you!"

Clavonita stood there, breathing heavily as she starred hard and long at her father, a tear rolling down her cheek. "And if you don't want me, just tell me and I will go, never to be seen again!"

Aron sleepily waved her over to him, saying, "Come, sweetheart." Clavonita reluctantly moved to him, her lip quivering as she laid beside him, held in his arm.

"Do you hate me...?"

"No, I hate the mistakes I've made."

"Was I one of them?"

"Yes, you were."

"Why was I born...? Why did I have to come along and ruin your life...?"

"You didn't ruin my life. I love you, Clavonita."

Clavonita smiled and held her dad tightly, her breathing becoming more ragged on each intake and exhale.

"Are you alright?"

Clavonita nodded to her father as he closed his eyes, slipping off to sleep. She slowly rolled up and began to stare at the ceiling, gulping once as her breathing abruptly stopped. But, this time, she let it happen, smiling sadly as she slowly began to die beside her father. She slowly moved her right hand to tightly grasp his left.

Lying there, she felt at peace for once in her life, her life long breathing problem finally killing her. She recounted her life and how it had all come about by her father making a simple mistake. She was a bastard, an outcast. But, through all of this, she still felt welcomed and loved by her father for once in her life.

She finally allowed her eyes to flutter shut, her pulse slowly halting as her body became colder and colder...

Her hand that had firmly grasped her father's hand slowly went slack, her fingernails barely touching his palm. Clavonita laid there in her father's bed, completely dead as she waited for the sun to rise on the next day to let her sins be cleansed by the Creator...

[ Just so nobody takes this the wrong way, this is in no way a Perma-Kill. Clavonita should be saved by the Monks, but I thought that this post would create some interesting Forum Role-Play. Enjoy! ;D ]

- Jericho jumps with joy as he returns from the ocean, slowly bringing his ear away from the door with a slight fiddle of his fingers. Then jerking his head back to hang behind him, he sighs. "Finally." he murmurs, obviously glad to hear Clavonita die. -

Anne de Sarkozy hears of Clava's apparent death shortly after the sun rises that morning. With shaking hands she kicks off her shoes and tucks them into a small bush. She then proceeds to walk through the forest, her feet bare. She continues like this for a long time, walking very slowly, her face expressionless. Her feet are cut by rocks, her face and dress scratched by branches, but she doesn't seem to notice. She continues walking.

After some time, she finds a small hut with a stream of water and a bench beside a farm. She sits on the bench, her hands brushing along the splintering wood. Minutes after sitting down she lets out a small sob, this seems to set her off. She lifts her hands to her face and the sobs continue.

She sits like this, crying as the hot sun beats down on her until her skin is red raw and her lips are chapped. She stands abruptly and turns to walk over to the forest. She pauses at the edge and with a raspy voice she screams "I'm alone, always alone, why did you have to take her, too? Don't leave me alone!" Before walking back in, this time at a much faster pace, back the way she came from.
