Character Sub-race:Kha’Cheetrah

Character appearance (Including age and gender):Brake is a tan-furred, brown-spotted Kha’Cheetrah kitten. He is smaller than his brothers and sisters, but not by enough to be considered a runt.

What is the personality of your character like?:Brake is soft-spoken and shy. He has a natural disdain for Apes, as most/all Kharajyr do. He is not a fighter, although he will be capable of defending himself when he grows up. He will outright refuse to carry any weapons not used for hunting as he grows up.

Braké is a kitten.

His father is Ja’Raska ((princetonlax21)), a priest of Metzli.

His mother is Sa’Janehsi ((IonMaster))

His adopted brother is Mosàn ((Volutional))

[b]Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:[/b] Brake will feel a desire to become a priest, like his father, as he grows up, which will grow into his greatest ambition in life.

[b]Character’s strengths/weaknesses:[/b] Brake will be very shy out of his nature. He will likely become antisocial, which will hinder his ambition of priesthood. He has no particular strengths, although some will develop as I RP this character.

[b]Situational Roleplay Questions
1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

How does your character react?[/b]

An adult Brake looks at the two men, his eyes widening in fear. The men continue to yell at him, but Brake hears nothing but meaningless shouting. His kill, a boar piglet, encumbers him greatly, but in a massive burst of adrenaline he hefts the thing over his shoulder and bolts, knocking a human over by swinging the boar at them as he picks it up. The humans, minus the one that was knocked to the ground, chase after him, swords in hand, stabbing at the air around him. Brake sprints into deep foliage, more experienced at traversing the jungle than the humans. They stop in their tracks, stabbing into the vines and shrubbery, but to no avail.

 

Brake arrives in the capital a few hours later, his fur riddled with grass stains and mud, his kill completely covered in mud. He has sustained bruises and scratches from falling, bloodied and bruised areas showing on his person. He collapses to the ground from sheer exhaustion, drops the muddy boar, and some citizens of the capital haul him to his bed.

[b]2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

How does your character react?[/b]

 

Brake shrieks, offended not only because of the evil of the act but because he might be associated with the gem-thief and be unable to become a priest. He bowls into the thief, causing him to stop prying gems away from the altar and collapse to the ground.

 

“Puut dawse back!”, Brake yowls, his friend struggling under him, hissing. He kicks himself up, his foot going into the other’s abdomen and winding him just before the moonblades arrive and haul him away.

[b]3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

How does your character react?[/b]

 

Brake has places to be, and attempts to ignore the dwarf as he passes by, but the angry little person grabs onto Brake’s thigh, and hisses at the dwarf, pushing away.

 

“Oh, ye’re in fer it, kitteh!”, he bellows at Brake.

 

Brake does not want a fight with him, and continues on, but he is followed. As Brake nears the cloud temple gate, he is grabbed again, this time in the arm. Brake shrieks, and a monk comes and pushes the irate dwarf off of him, and Brake hurries out of the gate and out of the Dwarf’s sight.

[b]4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

How does your character react?[/b]

 

Brake screams for help before rushing into the building, sprinting in the direction of the Tla’s child. He thinks that the younger Kharajyr would have less of a chance of survival if left in the building, but in a more morbid and selfish thought that he might be rewarded for saving him. He picks the kitten up, which mewls and sobs into his shoulder as he exits the building, dodging burning tinder that falls on him.

 

Brake dives out a window, splashing into a pool of water which greatly refreshes him. He looks up, still holding the kitten, and notices two Kha, covered in soot, one incapacitated, being held, and glaring at Brake, who cowers as he realizes who it is.
