Matt011011 166 Share Posted July 7, 2013 Milo sits in his office, glancing out at the livestock through his window. After a few minutes pass he picks up his quill, lightly dips it in the inkwell and begins to write neatly on the parchment in-front of him. Once he finishes writing he gently sets the quill back down in the inkwell, folds up the note and heads down to the town square to pin the parchment up onto the notice board. The parchment reads: Dear fellow hobbits, After much conversation with the other Elders I am happy to announce that Aris Snowbird shall become the newest Elder of our fine village! I know you will all make him feel welcome and encourage him as he settles into his new position. But, now that Aris will no longer be serving as Sheriff we will need to fill his position. Please leave a note down below if you are interested! Once again, congratulations to Elder Aris Snowbird! -Elder Milo Herbwallow

TheRoyalOnion(Aris) 101 Share Posted July 7, 2013 ((I'mma cry bili )) Aris smiles happily strolling through Lenfarthing and talking to hobbit passerby. His walk brings him through the ripe fields of grain on onto the doorstep of the Hollowmead Hovel. He mumbles to the old oak door. "I'll do ye proud, old friend" Aris sniffles and wipes a single tear from his cheek walking off quickly to find a few flowers to lay on the doorstep. On his walk away he is nearly crushed to death by the cheesiness of the situation.

Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Bango Blackfoot trots down from the mill, catching sight of a fresh posting on the noticeboard. He slings his shovel and dusts off his trousers, stepping over for a gander. In his belt pouch, he just so happens to have a folded up piece of parchment paper, a grease pencil, a tenpenny nail and a ball-peen hammer for the occasion. He scribbles a simple message and slaps it onto the noticeboard, driving the nail in carefully so as not to bust his thumb to bits. "Been several long songs and nary a shire reeve. I'll watch o'er them cookpots as Sheriff if'n ye'll 'ave me. I be that quiet feller o'er yonder with th' pigs 'n' th' carrots, mindin' me own business 'n' shunnin' change. - Bango Blackfoot" He shrugs and heads back to the farm, whistling an old land-shanty as the gravel crunches under his feet.
