The Merging Of Two Families

Andrik Valkrae sit's by the river passing adjacent to Sherwood Country, reading over the letter he had just written. The sounds of demolition ring all about him as the buildings of Sherwood County are taken down. Andrik proofs his writing before sending the letter off. The letter reads:

 

To all the Citizens and Nobles of Oren,

 

Most of you, perhaps none of you, know who I am, so let me keep this letter short so that we all may continue on with our duties during this changing time.

 

I hold a County within the lands of Salvus, but seeing that Salvus has receeded from Oren I feel that I must make a decision whether to stay in my home or leave it behind. In short, I see that there is no more need for my House within the lands of Oren so I shall be merging Valkrae with our former family, Clan Tarus. To sum up what I'd like to truely say is that I am leaving. I shall have no more of this selfish world and so I shall say goodbye.

 

If they do desire, I hope that any remaining Valkrae will join Clan Tarus in Adunia. All lands and objects that I own shall go to the Chieftan of Clan Tarus.

 

And so farewell to all of you. I know that you most certainly do not care for me, but I do hope you all take care in these words. As many others have said; shape up. Look at what you are doing to this world. Throw out the prizes of war or the rewards of being a Noble in Oren and look around at your fellow beings. We Humans choose to kill for titles and objects that we have misconstrued into being all we care about when in reality they mean little.
