The Trog ((Ooc))

Hello everyone I am VonAulus, I currently am incharge of the new orcish Trog, a "peaceful" trade post on the way from the Cloud Temple to the Great Nation crossing. We are trying to improve orcish roleplay by centering it there where it is closer to everyone. One way I thought of to attract members of the community was to build a fully functional arena. Whether just two orcs bored who want to PVP for fun or some veteran roleplay soldiers battling it out through emotes, you can watch it in the arena. 

 

Currently with the orc population, we do not have enough people to staff the arena at all times, so I wanted to approach you, the community to help us out. If you are bored, stop by and maybe watch a fight, grab a pipe of cactus green and enjoy yourselves. I am also looking for veteran roleplayers to be gladiator sorts, thrown into the ring against each other, battling to the death. Death, yes you heard be right, if you lose, it is perma kill. But these characters will cycle through often, always changing fight styles, and if you wish, after death, you can reroll another gladiator. 

 

These gladiators will perform in front of audiences of Anthos citizens on weekends or when ever we decide to have an event. There will be real life and death of characters on the line. This is not saying that your character may end up battling in one of these because he has become a slave or captured by orc raid party, he will just not have to perma kill. The death aspect is only for those who want to by agreeing to play a gladiator just on occasion. Also, not all fights will be to the death, you will never know unless you come to watch though. 

 

I want to know what the community thinks about it before it goes any further down the line. I was not sure whether to put this in roleplay or your ideas of lore btw, sorry if I got it wrong.

I think this would be a pretty cool idea.

You should talk to the VAT about not needing vas for gladiators so that people can have much more freedom INSIDE the arena. Instead of always needing vas.
