Role-playing: The act of getting into the role of a character, say a impure cave dwarf who is part of the Starbreaker dwarven clan ((shameless advertising :D)), and pretending you are said amazing dwarf for the purpose of entertainment for oneself and others. 
Meta-gaming: The act of using out of character information for the purpose of in-character benefit or other such motives. An example of such would be being told of this rebellion by your bud in skype, then murdering the rebellion leader to stop the rebellion before it takes way.
Power-emoting: The act of doing a impossible action ((super leet 5 throat stab backflip)) or forcing actions upon another individual (*Aengoth walks up and stabs Siegemen in the neck ((gg /damage 20 plz)))

  Mordanis's life began fatherless, due to his grandfather murdering his father. His mother upon hearing of such news left Mordanis with the monks. With the monks Mordanis learned the joys of reading and understanding, they introduced to him open mindedness as he was not sheltered to only see one culture alone. As time went on Mordanis's reading skills delved into more advanced books, he grew to particularly love books which spoke of heroes, dragons, and great villains. Amongst all such books it was those of magic that allowed his imagination to run free, those being the books his childhood lived upon.

   When the time came for the races to seek new homes and safety in Kalos Mordanis set out on one of his "adventures". It was the human island he visited, it in its early stages of being built. In particular he watched one area being built, while watching such he met a man who was overseeing the construction. This man happened to be Aron Bedevere, his grandfather. Unaware of the truth of his father's death Mordanis connected with his grandfather, telling him stories of his life and how he became an orphan. Throughout this Aron began to notice a trend, realizing that Mordanis was his grandson he brought the boy in. From then Mordanis lived with his grandfather, practically revering him. That is, until a few elf days after hitting the age of 18...

Ambitions for the Future: Mordanis once hoped to be a mage as a child, nowadays he simply hopes to train under a particular doctor within Adunia.

 

Personality: Mordanis is generally quite kind, to the point of being nearly a servant to all those who threaten him.
