Amber de Stolistes places her letter in the aviary, recipient was any of the House of Flay.

 

"Honorable descendants of House Flay,

 

It is my disappointment that two men under the House de Stolistes's soon to be vassal Vectis Vekon II has reached me, reporting a most shocking and worrying news. 

 

An incident had happened regarding our Chief Brewer Dorbir Blackmane and brother of Vectis, bannerman, Vaeremias Vekon. Dorbir Blackmane with a more specific story, said he was planting hops for the brewery by two flays and a 12 foot tall troll kidnapped him to a spring cave. Where they attempted to harass and eat him. He escaped ((when the server crashed)) by a narrow miss. Our bannerman Vaeremias has been missing. We traced him back at the monks. He was unconscious but there are several scars visible. Since his unconsciousness we do not know how had made him like so, however we have reasonable doubt to relate the incident to Dorbir. Dorbir also had heard fighting, so that might have been Vaeremias. ((OOCly Vaeramias saw the flays kill him however ICly, when you die, you lose 30 minutes of memory so..))

 

Since I was not there to observe the whole incident, I have not much proof than the word of my men and the scars from Vaeremias. I would hopefully like that your house to discipline your men and try not to unreasonably decide to attack innocent people. Of course, I would be relieved if you claimed that is not your men. Since the House Flay is still a house to be respected and your land the Kingdom of Galahar is still a place where many visit and stay. However, if you decide to inform us, it was truly your men who did such act, I would not demand an apology, only to hope that you discipline them better. So that the same incident will not happen to my men or any other innocent citizen. My men, holding no grudge, will continue doing their work. Same as I hope for your men.

 

I truly hope, there shall not be any more incidents that will ruin our mutual respect.

 

If the Flays have any reason to attack our men, I urge you to tell us as we, the House de Stolistes are rational and ethical. If any incident had happened to provoke your men to attack ours, we would like to hear it. Of course if you return the responsibility of this incident to my men with reasonable explanation, I would immediately give an apology and execute punishment for their trouble and for not telling me the whole story.

"So that's what they were doin'...Huh." Lark shrugs and flips the paper over asking for compensation for information. He runs to Abram's Aviary in the Kralta church and sends a bird off.
