Thrice-Fold: An Election

Upon the notice board of Lin'evaral a note has been framed in a glass case for all to see:

Elsohaer

It is upon this karim that Sohaer Kalenz Uradir relinquishes his position. Once again the cihi shall hold yet another election in order to decide upon their new leader. Until said election, the current triumvirate shall remain in place. Those who wish to run in said election must go to the main hall of the library, where they will find the appropriate papers.

~ Kalenz Uradir

Down within the Eternal library of Haelun'or, tucked away in the corner of the main hall, a small, non-nondescript wooden desk stands. Your mali'aheral curiosity, incapable of being torn away, drives you to investigate this relative oddity. Within moments, you are pouring over the papers. Strangely, only one appears to have writing upon it. Gazing upon its simple, black script, you read it as thus--

The Sohaer Election

Those of this blessed cihi are advised that the next election for the task of high leadership is now, once more, upon you. Choose with the clarity of Larihei's wisdom, and fault shall remain elusive.

Those who wish to become candidates within the cihi must step forth now and make themselves known to the general populace. It is in the interest of both Haelun'or, elcihi and the individual to observe these candidates. Those who refrain shall lack understanding and though your vote should be stripped from your person for your disdain of knowledge, your right to represent yourself shall not be removed.

Diligence in the face of ignorance.

Maalkan sits upon his bed, a single tear streaming down his face. He tacks up a poster of his own making, whispering to himself

"If only..."

Delonna slowly makes his way into the main hall of the library, pausing to glance around for a moment, before making his way straight over to the desk. He lets out a loud sigh as he reads over it, with an irritated frown quickly appearing on his face. He shakes his head as he quietly mutters to himself.

"I fear it will fall upon myself, to prevent the city from falling into incapable hands."

He glances over the blank papers for a moment, before taking one of them with as he strides out of the library.

((Nomination post in-coming. Will work on it tomorrow. :3))

The nomination has been removed, and replaced with a small note.

After much thought, I have decided to recall my nomination for the position of Sohaer.

Seth'onn takes a small amount of ink powder between her fingertips, letting it fall over her freshly inscribed question. The slightly musty parchment taken from the Sythaerin house's storage makes a soft crumpling sound as it is rolled and folded over itself.

Seth'onn looks over, trying to find an adequate embossing seal for the wax she had just recently put over a candle flame. Finding the bag to be mostly full of the same insignia, she decides that she may as well just use the one with the large letter "S" on it. The regal purple wax melts over the paper, making only a somewhat round shape before she stamps the circular seal into the middle of the wax pool.

She lifts the paper to her lips, blowing three times on the wax in an attempt to further cool it before putting it into her bag and running off towards the notice board and tacking it under Delonna's paper.

"If Mr. Elsohaer doesn't want to be Sohaer anymore but you want to be Sohaer instead, should I start calling you Mr. Elsohaer? If so what should I call Mr. Elsohaer?"

-Seth'onn

She hurries off, tucking her satchel under her arm, and eagerly awaits the appearance of an answer.
