Finally, Pvp Is Default

Just going to point out to those saying they've been through over a year of RP default, that it happened in September or August of 2012. Not till near the end of Asulon. Pretty much done sharing my opinion here, but I figured I'd clear that up.

Isn't it funky that the staff first said this issue would be decided by vote, which then came out in favor of RP default, and is subsequently ignored as the staff overrules with a new decision?

Isn't it funky that an Admin threw out the initial vote being held amongst staff in which it was PvP default succeeding, only to throw it to the masses that can use scare tactics and illogical rationale to propose that those who understand that they are playing Minecraft are bullies, savages, bad at spelling, bad at 'roleplaying', mean, disgraceful?

Special creatures with special abillitys i guess, still need to roleplay fight, makes sense huh.

If you are not willing to stick around and at least give it a try, then go. Go quietly and with a bit of dignity. 

 

Also, We did have a vote and a few players decided to cheat the vote. After we had sorted that out it was still basically a tie... so the GM team had a vote. PvP won, almost hands down.

 

We are giving this a try, being upset and groaning about it helps none and will be ignored. We tried RP default for a bit, And I was a huge advocate for keeping RP default but the arguments for PVP were very strong and they won.

In all to note most who support will still role-play fight so... in truth don't go. But for the people saying goodbye doing those little "quirky" comments your adding fuel to the fire, don't make yourself look like the " villain"

Um, question. Will OOC gear be allowed in PVP fights?

Let's say my character only uses a wooden shovel in battle and dislikes armor, but I have a full iron set in my inventory.
Am I allowed to break out my 'PVP kit' when it comes down to it? Or must I only use said shovel?

That is what you sound like when you say things like "Oh, I found another server just in time" or, "Goodbye LotC. Thanks for the run". Please, just stop it. If you're going to leave, go ahead. Leave. But don't expect everyone to be like "Oh, don't leave! The admin team will change their decision just for you!", people won't. Just leave quietly. No snarky or supposedly badass leaving comments. We don't care for them. 

 

If you really are leaving the server because you need some PvP skills, maybe you should leave, as it's clear that the server never really meant anything to you.
