The Holm Council.

Those in attendance for the meeting are: Majora Lavada, Caln Mcharnish, Adorellean Kamura, Caoimeh Ipos, King William Horen, Starke Mcharyn, Aramis Lyon, Tzadick Light bringer, Elros Leydon and the Lavada Children.

The meeting takes place within the halls of Furnestock keep at the Kamura dining hall, William and the other Orenians sat on one end of the table, Caln and his men on the other.

A ginger woman in a muted blue gown adorned with gold trim approaches the table with a large tome in hand, sending it slamming down upon the table with a heavy 'thunk' and flipping it open to a page marked with a blue velvet ribbon. Afterwards she would reach back, grasping a shabby brown journal from Adorellan and setting it beside the tome.

"This is the official history of Holm." she would say, setting her left hand atop the larger of the books. "Recorded from the founding of the kingdom by Tassel, after it was sold to him by Hiebe Irongut, to it's collapse under the rule of Cethis." Majora would then set her hand upon the smaller book, speaking up with a slightly more mournful tone. "This is the journal of my husband, King Tassel Lavada..."

"These books contain reason after reason of why the claim to Holm's crown should be withdrawn, reveal the deception of the Vincrute Bastards and hopfully convince you to have the name of your lands changed. I will present only the most pressing evidence, along with Izier's former wife, Caoimeh."

Majora pauses for a breath, then continues her speech. "Syrila, Tassel's first wife plotted with Izier and poisoned Tassel, evidence of which can be found in his journal. She was unfaithful, uncaring, abusive and conniving, she committed adulteries on more than one occasion and as Tassel was preparing to annul their marriage she poisoned him and declared herself reagent during his sickness. During which time she gave the crown to Izier Vincrute, who brought in his men and occupied the nation. By definition, a rebellion. I'll allow Caoimeh to continue from here."

Majora steps back, a plump, auburn haired adunian woman in a dull green dress taking her place at the front of the table, speaking with a thick Hansettian accent

"Izier vas a terrible und cruel man, even more conniving zhan zhe voman before 'im. He pursued me endlessly against mine vishes, going zo var as to attempt to confine me. Zhis man vould litterally, chase me. Coming after me on 'orse und voot until I vas too vorn to pull away. He told me lies in my exhaustion, convincing me zhat mine vamily vas to turn against me... At virst I did not believe zhem. But as 'e grew more agressive in 'is pursuit, darker in 'is vords.. 'e turned to threaten me. Vunce again, I refuzed 'im."

She pauses, chin tucking a moment as she shudders. Drawing a slow breath, her head lifts, eyes steely and cold as her voice straightens and becomes monotonic.

"He turned to threaten zhose close to me. Mine firstborn child, mine friends, mine family. I vas made to believe as 'e vhispered zhis to me, I conceded after much time.. I became 'is vife. Vhen I vas kept as 'is voman, I saw many terrible actions done by 'is 'and. Murder of innocents in name of a dark God, a copious amount of drugs, adultery vith zhe castle servants. Even zho var as to go to zodomy, vhich I 'ad ze pain to vitness in mine movements along ze castle grounds many a time."

Once again she pauses, a worn expression passing over her as she glances to Majora, fingers tightly twisting together before her gaze turns back to the council, quickly hardening.

"Vhen I finally came to realize zhat no redemption vhas there for 'im. No chance of any light zurviving in 'is 'eart. I faked mine death. I knew zhe only vhat to escape this monster in mortal flesh vhas to make 'im zhink vithout a doubt.. vhas to leave mine on blood, bits of flesh, und 'iar to prove it to 'im. Und only now, under zhe protection of zhose around me, can I rize and tell chu zhat I bore zhat man NO child. Und i 'ave vound, zhat even our very marriage, it vas a -LIE-. A valse dance of a ceremony, a play to trick all of us. Zhat man, und 'is bastards, 'ave no claim to this kingdoms name."

Majora steps in again, speaking up as Caoimeh would sit back down, her expression softening. "You have been tricked, the 'Vincrute' children have lied to you, they are the bastard descendants of a rebel with no legitimate spawn to his name...Now, the queen of those Rebels, and the Wife of the true king ask you, plead of you to abandon association with Holm, to let the stained title and the crown rest with the Horen Family, so that the burden of such a bloodstained and filthy nation might not take the lives of more innocents."

With that final statement, the ginger elf returns to her seat, leaving the books for inspection.

The Duke, Adorellan Kamura had taken his leave for the book. Only to return with it in his hands, a small smile forming upon his lips from beneath the darkened helmet. The shadowed figure narrowed his eyes, breathing lightly from beneath the helmet as his armour clanked loudly and ominously.

He would make to take a seat upon HIS chair, his hands slowly raising, curling his fingers around the helmet before slowly raising it, revealing his face and such. He'd settle it down, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he curled his right hand around the hilt of his greatsword which rested to the side of his chair, a flay bandanna tied to the hilt. He'd listen in, watching them all with a bright smile.

King Caln McHarnish sits back in his chair and folds a leg over his knee. He rubs his chin in deep thought as he looks at each person at the table before finally speaking.

"I must say I was surprised when war was declared on my kingdom. The facts here should have been brought to me before war began, and this could have been easier. Either way, the past is the past, and we need to look towards the future. The Vincrutes who still live hold land in my kingdom yet I do not believe they are the ones you refer to as. Augustus is Izier's grandson I believe and should not be blamed for his crimes. If the name has made this much trouble though, we can make changes to it. No evil intentions were meant to be done when we named the kingdom Holm. We simply wished to restore the greatness to its name, but if what you say is true, the name is to stay with your family."

Caln stops speaking for a moment as he flips through the History of Holm.

"Obviously with your allies we can not take multiple nation in battle nor have we planned to. Talks of an alliance between my kingdom and Oren were considered to help against future enemies. I did not see us as the first ones. I offer this to you Majora for our mistakes made to your family. All claims to Holm will be diminished, the name of my kingdom changed, and Izier exiled from our lands. Augustus has done nothing wrong though and is just a young man. Surely you cannot punish him for his grandfather's misdeeds. We still look to Oren as an ally yet this simple problem seems to stand in the way. Accept these terms, and our kingdoms can move on from war to helping one another."

Majora lifts her head, motioning to Adorellan. "The male of whom you speak beat a mcharyn, the wife of my son Falias in the street claiming she was a racist. Adorellan was there to stop the attack, but yes, he has done wrong. He did so knowingly as well, and came into Oren court, brandishing his blade and threatening my brother, Bayde and my grandson, Alexander. He knows very well what he has done and is pulling the wool over your eyes."

"The McHaryns and Augustus have come to peace. The boy has made mistakes just as I have made many as well as everyone in this room. Give him a chance, and you will not be displeased with the promise he will show. His offences are minor and can be pardoned if you let it in your heart."

"I'm afraid I cannot, my son pushes for his removal, the boy has physically battered my heir's wife and threatened a Horen prince, along with my close brother. Along with claiming he has rightful rule, my powers of forgiveness have their limit and he has reaches them, I do not wish him dead, but exiled...I want him to drop his claim and attitude and formally apologize to my son's wife."

*Arrives into the council his face cold and expressionless, he turns to the group, he gives a face of disgust knowing he did nothing they claim him to have done. He masks his feelings in a expression of pleasure*

"I sincerely apologize for my crimes, I hold no claims to the Throne, nor have I ever. I followed my father, because I would be killed if I did not. Forgive me for everything I have done." He smiles pleasantly.

The youngest of the Lavada men stand, his expression emotionless, a young blonde woman shyly standing with him, but scooting to the cover of his body.

"While we accept your apology, and care no more for war, this incident shall not be forgotten, nor will it be forgiven. We will not seek to punish you for your transgressions, however."

Though, before Caln leaves. Adorellan suddenly stands, slamming his right fist upon the table. Narrowing his eyes as he slowly tilts his head up. His face full of anger.

"I once said I'd have the McHarnish's heads for rebelling against my son and nearly killing him in that war." He mutters, glaring towards Caln. "I only have one. I need the others." He mutters, slowly balling his other hand to a fist. "Tell me why I shouldn't war with you. Even if the Lavada's wish not too."

Katlyn stays quiet in the background. Her hair dyed red and her green eyes piercing. She remains quiet though it is obvious she is angry. She has learned to keep quiet during times like this. She smirks a little as she looks to the one who supposedly attacked her brother, memorizing his face. She looks around to the others before going back into the kitchen to bring out the tea. She smiles gently as she walks hiding any malice she may hold. She passes around the cups of tea before taking her spot back beside her husband's chair.

Caln turns as Adorellan speaks and motions for the council to sit back down. Caln remains standing and leans on the back of the chair, staring at Adorellan. Finally, he begins to chuckle which sounds like a deep rumbling in his chest.

"The McHarnishs are dead. I am the last one of my clan. The only surviving one is my bastard son who lives with the Stafyrs. The men you want to kill are innocents. Most are men and women and children who have lived in the Wilds their whole lives. Even Daniel Kamura, your son and the man we did rebel against, has been done with this blood thirst of yours. What do you think Uthor would say if he saw us squabbling like children here? My head would most likely go up your a*s. Its been 15 years since then yet as a person not directly involved, you are the only one who still seeks blood. Blood of innocents. Ya already got us! We tried rebelling and lost. Now, instead of reminiscing on the past, we simply must look towards the future instead of slaughtering each other. No one here wants the war. It needs to be settled, and what is done, is done.

Adorellan, the Mad Marshal tilts his head up, bringing his right hand up as he scratches his chin, before slumping back and against his chair. He'd then lower his hands, grasping at the arm-rests. "Who said I never wanted war?" He chuckles loudly and deeply, his grip tightening. "A Baelish never forgets." He mutters, tilting his head to the right. "Nor forgive." He says, starting to grit his teeth as he glares towards Caln. "I killed a McHarnish once.. Caln's son." He mutters, continuing to tilt his head, his eyes slowly widening. "You knew what you would be getting into, boy. When trying to kill the Baelish in that war, in led with your own men being slaughtered and we hung each body up for the rest of your men to see. Now, I want an apology. To both, me and my son. I had to go through the troubles of slaughtering your men for him."
