Kralek 519 Share Posted September 1, 2013 House Herenden Politics Land-Holdings: County of Eastslope Barony of Gren Barony of Tahill Barony of Danevale Vassals: None as of now Liege Lord: House Winter of the Kingdom of Herendul -------------------~~~++~~~------------------ History House Herenden began with the man of the name Richard Herenden. Richard never knew where he came from, he had many thoughts, but none were certain. He awoke one day in a field, having no memory except his name and age. He proceeded to seek work in the Holy Kingdom of Oren, where he was recruited as a guard for the noble house of Oren. He eventually became the Hauptmann, Captain, but left after a feud with Edmund Stafyr. Richard tried then to create his own guild, but in the end merged it with another, name the Celets. After much time of inactivity, Richard seized control of the guild and renamed it the Corridians and based them inside Kastoria. During the time this was happening, news came to him that Oren's emperor Henry had left, leaving a vacuum of power for the new heir William Horen to take control of. He felt a sense of duty to his home kingdom at this point and so began House Herenden. Richard decided to reorganize his guild as his bannermen, leaving his base and relocating in a manor in Abresi and situating his family there. He worked on contacts to find suitable land and in time he came upon the honourable Robert Winter. He quickly became acquainted with him and was given the Barony of Gren under the County of Northal. One tragic day, he got into a feud with the Sariants which lead to the Pascals and Sariants burning down his manor. After bringing it to the King, he was betrayed by the king's court and killed. After which his eldest son, Alester, took over as House Lord and Baron of Gren. Alester sought to make his house better. He successfully petitioned the King for noblility. Shortly after however, the House Winter seceded from the Kingdom of Oren, taking the Duchy of Hanseti with them, and creating the Kingdom of Herendul. As a loyal follower Alester followed his new King, King Edward Winter, in the creation of the new kingdom where he was appointed Lord Treasurer and Count of Eastlope. -------------------~~~++~~~------------------ Family Members Dead Richard Herenden - Only know house founder Lilith Herenden - Wife to Richard Alive Alester Herenden (Kralek) - Current House Lord, Count of Eastslope, and Lord Treasurer Ariana Herenden (Guenther) - Betrothed to William Westfall Derrik Herenden (Knyghtfalcon) - MIA Ivan Herenden (minitoot2) - I have no Idea, probably being weird somewhere OOC INFO: ((PM if you're interested in playing a Herenden and we'll discuss how they'll fit in.))
