2. A elegant looking note under it.

 

"To the followers of the Dark lord.

It has come to our unfortunate attention that you have one of our own in your company, and infact have treated her quite poorly. The situation being such, we simply had to extend our hospitality to a member of yours.

What you look was once a part of one Joe Orman. If you would the rest of him back within salvagable pieces, I would suggest you deliver Scarlet back to us nice, safe, and unharmed.

You have the remainder of the Elven day.

The same box is returned, placed on the ground outside the large gates of the Delver Keep. Looking inside would reveal a note that reads the following.

 

To the Delvers who insist on harassing us,

 

I'd like to begin by clearly this silly misconception profligates such as yourselves seem to hold about us (Mainly as you refuse to allow us to even speak, or explain our Doctrine to you without you attempting to behead us). Our Great and Benevolent Lord is not one of malice, evil, or darkness. Quite the opposite. His goal is merely to liberate us from our weakness and chains, placed upon us by the Malevolent Creator. I'd go as far as saying he's one of love, and compassion. 

 

Your hypocrisy truly shines in this note. You attack us for, mainly, religious reasoning, claiming that we are somehow evil. Yet you threaten us daily, send raids after us, and torture those of the Faith, among other heinous crimes. Yet you still insist that we are the ones of 'darkness'. 

 

I'm assuming this Scarlet you speak of is the woman we currently hold in our possession. I assure you, we are keeping fine care of her until this issue is resolved. No harm has befallen her, and it will remain so for the time being (I'm not sure where you got the information that she was being treated poorly. We simply wanted her assistance in some matters). Conflict between us is unnecessary, truly. 

 

We request that Joe Orman and Rawrych, the Dread Knight, are returned to us outside of our Keep. At this time, we will have this 'Scarlet' waiting so that you may take her back to your ruins. We all hope this situation may be resolved peacefully.

"Please don't lie to us lliran. We were told everything by our brother who you so readily thought would betray us.

We shall meet where the druids hold their annual moots, in the circle of stones. You may bring a maximum of three members excluding your prisoner to this meeting. As promised we've not removed any other parts of our guest just yet.

Another letter is placed outside the Delver Keep, this one written on worn parchment. It is folded in half, and sealed with something that resembles an image of an eye. It would read as follows.

 

I assure you, Delvers, nothing that I wrote was a lie. If someone told you otherwise, so be it, but it is not the truth. Scarlet is a fine condition, and we have been taking excellent care of her. 

 

We will agree to hold this meeting outside the gates of the Cloud Temple, a neutral meeting ground in which we assure our safety and yours. We expect that we will be given the Dread Knight Rawrych and the elf Joe Orman (Both alive, and in fine health) in exchange for this 'Scarlet'.

But in reality it would have been an RP that had to be carried out only when everyone was on and that just wasn't happening. :(     ))
