Dwarven Engineering Guild

 

 

 

​History: The Engineers of Urguan were officially
founded when the Grand Council was reformed. They appointed Nalro Greyhammer as
the first guild-master. The guild was then left in the hands of Dominic
Irongut. Nalro Greyhammer was then reelected to position of guild-master.
After the disappearance of Nalro, the new guild-master, Rehki Irongut, was
given the position.

 

 

 

Ranks: 

Guild-members are promoted on the observations of the guild-master

Neophyte

Given basic redstone training if needed

2.     

Apprentice

 

knows basic knowledge

 

chooses specialization

 

 

3.     

Engineer

 

competent

 

chooses work group/squad

 

able to enter the Legion Field Engineers (LFEs)

 

teaches Neophytes

 

 

4.     

Senior Engineer

 

 

can work on larger, more advanced projects

      

leads a work group/squad

 

can lead a small project (Project Manager) 

teaches apprentices    

can learn secondary specialization

 

 

5.     

Foreman

 

only one per three Senior Engineers

      

can lead a large project      

receives plans from Draughtsman

 

6.     

Draughtsman

 

 

drafts plans for certain projects

 

gives plans to foreman

 

should be proficient in each specialization

 

7.     

Master Engineer

guild-master

 

assigns projects to draughtsman to draft

 

 

 

Specialization:

 

Note: Choosing a
specialization does not force you to work in that form of engineering, choose
one that interests you.

 

 

 

Redstone: Everything from traps to piston doors!

 

Industrial: Things like aqueducts and printing presses!

 

Siege Weaponry: Catapults, Balistas and more!

 

Weapon and Equipment Development: Design and develop new equipment and arms!

 

Naval Engineer: Shipbuilding!

 

Structural: Bridges, docks, etc!
