Aelu / Rel (Combustionary) 1540 Share Posted October 10, 2013 ((You can not deny or accept lol, no warclaim system.)) ((It was stated a while ago (I can go find the post if needed) that, without a system, Wars are essentially events. They require OOC consent from each side in order to take place.)) ((If it requires OOC permission to cause such an event then it requires OOC permission to steal dwarven relics, or cause other various crimes that RP'ly bring them to said war. Point being is that if the high elves wish to shut themselves up they can, but they cant go antagonizing others and expect no punishment))
Treshure 5817 Share Posted October 10, 2013 ((This is in the staff's hands to deny or accept this as the fourth wall has been the thing that has protected you for the longest time now. Not yourselves. In character this would even make sense too.)) ((In character this would not make sense. In character a lot of highly skilled mages will blast you to oblivion from their extremely defensive walls. Just because a city is locked up doesn't mean you can get your panties in a twist and warclaim it, which has been done before.))
ski_king3 0 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I'm locking this thread. Its initial creation was certainly made with the knowledge that it would lead to an attack against a group OOC'ly, something which is to be avoided at all cost. The point made in this thread has been discussed many times, yet even if it were to be discussed again, it could have been brought about in a very different manner, one which promoted polite discussion. I know that some of you intended to use this thread as a means for mature discussion, but it's evident that this thread has led others to behave rudely.
