A sun rises upon a distant shore, the sails of the Large ship, The Victory unroll as a slim figure walks out of the lower decks, looking to her crew as she nods, one eye patched due to sun damage, though only temporary. Looking up to the skies as she sighs.

“Mistress, we’re readeh ta sail out fer Anthos again.” he smiles widely, the woman, curved in figure, her elven ears twitching under her cap as she gives him a look up and down, nodding “Very good, time to get this ship sailing” she grins patting her red overcoat as she awaited the crewman’s response, a solemn nod.

“Deckhands to your positions! I want three of them up in the crows nest!.” she grinned. taking her scimitar out, ditching her weapons of old behind, the deckhands leaning over as they pulled the four anchors that kept the Victory in place. She would grin at the speed of which this was done, looking to the shoreline “It has been too long.. no, Anthos? Your beauty ripe for the plucking, and the ones I left behind.. They know not of my fate.”

Kyral felt the sea-breeze, navigators getting the boats sea bearings as she took a look around. putting her scimitar away as she took her aged violin out, taking the bow as the crew looked to her, it had been years since she had played, ever since she broke out of the shell that sent her life into a downwards spiral. The night she promised to one day to return to Hamish, eyes looking up to the sky as she muttered.

“No matter how far our spirits are, we share the same sky, and I know for a fact that you are still out there, Hamish. My love. My heart beats because yours does, and i will not deny, i miss you deeply.” she lowers her head, the crew remaining silent as most, save for the crow’s nest watched her closely. She was still slightly mentally unstable, but in nonviolent ways.

It must’ve been a few good minutes, before Kyral looked to her violin, resting her chin upon the rest as she used the bow to play a few notes to test out the capability of the weathered instrument. Still in working condition, which was good, Kyral took a step forward, obvious that her accent had receded as she began to play.

“The misery I know
Like a friend that won't let go
Is creeping up on me now once again”

Kyral’s eyes dull as the deckhands take control of the ship, looking onwards as she swings her body over the railing and lands on her feet swiftly. Eyes locking upon the distant shore of the mainland

“So I sing this song tonight
To the ghost that will not die
And somehow it seems to haunt til the end”

So many people she knew, so many people she loved.. lost and gone, but she knew that she had to leave, looking back upon the seas behind her as she continued to sing in a cheerful tone.

“Do you feel the same
For what once remained
Yesterday is gone, we can't go back again
Do you know ever cry for the Ghost of Days Gone By..”

Her music, her books, and the friends made along the way. Two of those remained, but Hamish? The love she left behind in order to better herself? Would he still be here? Would he, of all people accept her? She continued to sing, raising her voice loudly and cheerfully as she swayed across the ship.

“I remember those sunny days
We were young & unafraid
With innocence we'd glide beneath the stars

It seems so long ago
Beyond the life that I now know
Before the years would have their way & break my heart”

Definitely, her life changed, her mind changed, she was back to who she was, and then some. A promise to never be broken again, that she would never slip so far again. For everyone’s sake. This had to be done, for she would not be able to repair the damage twice.

“Do you feel the same
For what once remained
Yesterday is gone, we can't go back again
Do you know ever cry for the Ghost of Days Gone By

And I know it's drawing closer
With each day I feel the end
I... don't want to die”

With a mighty breath, and a “LAND HOOOOOOOOOO!” from the sailors upon the crow's nest. Kyral would tap her violin with her bow, giving this last verse her all.

“Do you feel the same
For what once remained
Yesterday is gone, we can't go back again
Do you ever cry for the days gone by
Do they haunt you like a ghost until the end
Haunt you til the end, until the end
Until the end, until the end”

The boat would dock near Malinor, Kyral looking upon the port for someone

"For every day that I breathe, I can spend it waiting." she remembered on their last exchange, they had both made promises to each other to see each other again.

“I will think about you as well Hamish, I will come back one day, /I swear it/, this world is just too broken for me, and I’m too broken for everyone elses world. This is the only answer, to fix myself in peace and serenity. the Ocean is exactly that. Please, please promise you’ll be here when I come back” Yeah, that's it, a promised never broken, tested by the tides of fate and the chains of love that bonded them.

She smiled, seeing the bearded man who stole her heart and soul, who reached out to her when she was at her lowest. Closing her eyes as she screamed out the name of the man she loved, rushing off the boat.

“HAMISH!!!” Kyral would run to him with open arms, Hamish’s eyes widening as he embraced her, kissing her on the cheek as Kyral hugged him back, weeping onto his shoulder. “I-I’m hom-” she was cut off with a single kiss, Kyral blushing as she looked away for a moment, Hamish smiling widely as he says.

“Welcome home” he would kiss her passionately, holding her tightly as Kyral exchanged the embrace in both strength and length, her eyes closed as she  and him were alone in their own world, of love and unity.

“Lets go.” Hamish smiled, Kyral looking up to him with a smile as she says “Where?” Hamish would kiss her forehead, “To find a home” to which she responded.

“No matter where we are, your arms feel like home to me.. and that's all I’ll ever need.”

They walked off. Into the forests of Malinor, and once again, everything would be alright with their world.

Adorellan comes to a halt upon noticing the ship. He tilts his head to the right, being adorned in a set of dark robes. A small smile forms upon his lips as he brings his arms back, clasping his hands behind his back. His eyes settle upon it, watching it sail, a soft sigh escaping his lips. "Another Hightower to kill, perhaps? Hmm.. Filth." He mutters beneath his breathe, before giving a light shrug. "No. She's one of the only Hightower's that's, well.. Slightly respectable." He snickers, before turning to walk.
