Recommended Posts

Dear Milo,

Due t' ya extreme inactivi'y in ya duties as Eldeh I 'ave come t' the conclusion ya do no' wan' t' be one anymore. Furthehmore I am removin' ya from the title o' Eldeh bu' this does no' mean tha' ya can' 'elp around Lenfarthin' anymore. Burrows need t' be fixed an' repairs need t' be made. I 'ope ya undahstand and 'ope ya 'elp vote a new person int' Eldehship.

Sincerely,

    Elder Bolo Willowbottom

A notice is posted on the notice board in big letters

'Alflin's an' 'obbits o' Lenfarthin'. With the recen' steppin' down o' Eldeh Milo a new Eldeh will be chosen soon. Please write who ya wan' t' become Eldeh ont' the board an' we'll announce who go' the position within the Elven week.

Nug slinks into the peaceful village of the Halflings, creeping through the night until skimming over the board with a frown, pulling a rough chunk of coal from his satchel and hastily writing down a reply.

"Put Milo back, remove Bolo." he reads out his reply before putting his writing utensil away, zipping up his satchel and skipping off.

Gamle Irongut would place up a note.

"Posco for elder!"

Posco read over the notice, sighing as he reads over the pinned note.

"Never 'eard o' tis Eldon fellah. Don' tink a burrowless 'Alflin' would make a good Elder."

He pins a note below Eldon's.

"I vote fer Rich."

Considering Milo has become much more active in Len now, and how I hardly ever do see Bolo around, I suggest we hold proper, democratic elections.

Only those who are burrow owning, and have been a Halfling for over a month should be allowed to run. If sombody is very inactive they can't run either.

((You could make the poll results public and then you could see their forum names, and remove all non-Lenfarthing residents from the poll results.))

Yokey grins upon seeing the note

"I'll do it!" He yells to no one in particular.

A note appears all over lenfarthing, with the Fatroot family crest and the words "Yokey for Elder."
