A Letter To Milo (New Elder Incoming)

Posco read over the notice, sighing as he reads over the pinned note.

"Never 'eard o' tis Eldon fellah. Don' tink a burrowless 'Alflin' would make a good Elder."

He pins a note below Eldon's.

"I vote fer Rich."

"T'is very kind Posco, bu' I'd very much rathe' ye be Elde'. I can do work withou' such titles, nor am I deservin' o' it"

Richard writes a note, crossing out his name

"Posco"

Richard writes a note, crossing out his name

"Posco"

"Course ye deservin' o' i'! Ye do more work 'en te curren' Elders!"

With a sigh, Posco adds onto his original note.

"I vote fer Rich. But if he don't wanna 'come an Elder, I vote fer Yokey."

Fumble throws a muffin at Posco,

"VO'E FA' ME!"

Considering Milo has become much more active in Len now, and how I hardly ever do see Bolo around, I suggest we hold proper, democratic elections.

Only those who are burrow owning, and have been a Halfling for over a month should be allowed to run. If sombody is very inactive they can't run either.

I do believe a poll is in order.

I agree each halfling who wants to be an elder should make a topic and explain why they should be an elder and what they will be doing. If we needed to, we could have some halflings be assistants and would have the same abilities as elders but must report to them about the issue/proposal. kinda like a vice president who helps out if the elder is not on at the time.

A system like you've suggested would consist of well over half the active population. Three ruling little folk, and of course the sheriff, are about all our population can really handle.

Moved to the Great Library. It shall be sorted into appropriate category shortly.
