With highly trained and efficient soldiers of Esheveurd Brigade, the following will come into force: After this edict is put in power, more frequent patrols will be launched around the city walls as well as inside of it, in order for the citizens to have an insight into their safety, which our soldiers will show without any problem. The safety of the people is very important, which is why every soldier, for any brilliantly done thing, such as rescuing a citizen or discovering a possible threat in or out of the city, will be rewarded directly by the Mayor's Office. SAVOY GRAND PRIX 1841 After a short break and time spent on the organization within the FIE, the time has come to show the world what a real horse race looks like and how to enjoy it. The first race in the history of Equestrian 1 begins in the very south, in the Principality of Savoy, where this idea originated. San Luciano, the capital of Savoy, is also the first racetrack already designed to provide the best racing experience to all future equestrians. The race will officially begin in 4 Saint's days, which gives the people good amount of time to think if they should participate. Participating in this race also brings some prizes to the winners. Considering that 7 people will race in this race, the first three places have the following prizes: I. Place: 70 minas & 'Trotter of Savoy' Championship Title II. Stallion's Stall Inn, a place where locals and foreign travelers gather to take a break from a long trip or work and have a drink, needs a new owner who will be able to maintain the tavern with his efforts and work. This way, Stallion’s Stall In is being put up for auction! Those who think they can accept these responsibilities can confirm this by coming to an auction to be held on Owyn's Flame, which is tomorrow. The auction will start in the early evening, and any person over the age of 18 can participate in it. ARTICLE I: Hierarchy President The President is a person who is the main representative of the International Equestrian Federation (FIE). Currently occupied: Volmar Barclay Vice President The Vice President is a person who is the right hand of the President. His task is to do a certain job if the president is unable to do them. When the current President resigns or dies, the Vice President automatically takes the position of President, with a unanimous vote. Currently occupied: [Vacant] Secretary General The Secretary General is responsible for the activities of the FIE’s mobility department, representing FIE worldwide. Its task is to promote and advertise the work of the FIE across nations, as well as to identify and promote potential teams and equestrians around the world. Currently occupied: [Vacant] ARTICLE II: Regulations Championships and competitions The FIE will organize the Realm Championships, as well as other competitions around the world. In accordance with FIE regulations, licensed teams and equesters will participate in licensed competitions held under FIE regulations. Persons over the age of 16 have the right to officially participate in licensed races, as well as to become a member of a licensed team, regardless of gender. The maximum number of equestrians in a championship is 7, while in side competitions, the number is limited to 10. In order for equestrian to participate in championships, the individual needs to get official licence from FIE. License is not necessary for side competitions. In order for a team to participate in championships and recruit the racers, the team needs to get official licence from FIE. Licence is necessary for both championships and side competitions. Regulations The regulations applicable to the championships and competitions are the International Sporting Code and any other regulations applicable to the Championship as issued by the FIE from time to time, together referred to as the “Regulations”. The Sporting Regulations are issued by the FIE and apply to the Championships and competitions taking place in the calendar year referred to in the title. Any changes made by the FIE for safety reasons may come into effect without notice or delay. If an equestrian is unable to be present in person at the Competition he must nominate his representative in writing. The person having charge of an entered horse during any part of a Competition is responsible jointly and severally with the competitor for ensuring that the requirements are observed. Equestrians must ensure that their horses comply with the conditions of eligibility and safety throughout practice and the race. It is the equestrian’s responsibility to ensure that all persons concerned by his entry observe all the requirements of the Regulations. ARTICLE III: Definitions Breeder A breeder is a person who has a license for the purpose of breeding racehorses. A breeder, in order to participate in international races, must be part of an already licensed team that has a vacancy for a breeder. The breeder who is already part of the team must follow the instructions of the team, be it in terms of how to feed the horse, the number of exercises that the horse will perform and the like. Breeder is picked either by a licensed team, or the breeder himself sends a request to a licensed team. Equestrians Equestrian is a person who is licensed to participate in races. Equestrian can be anyone over the age of 16, with a license approved by the FIE, as well as to be a member of one of the licensed teams. In order for a person to become licensed equestrian, he or she must inform the licensed team they wish to join. Teams Teams are a licensed group of people who participate in licensed races. Licensed teams can participate in championships, compete against other teams as well as monitor the results of their growth as well as the growth of their equestrians. In order for team to exist, a person (or a group of people) must inform the current President of FIE. Championship The championship is the main event, that is, the main race held and organized by the FIE. The championship takes place every four years, giving teams and their equestrians time to prepare for the next championship. The championship is composed of three key events: Practice: The first day of the championship where equestrians try out a racetrack, check their and their horse’s performance.. Qualifications: The second day of the championship which determines the starting positions of the equestrians for the day of the race. Race: The last, and at the same time the main day of the championship in which equestrians compete for the championship title. In the championship, the maximum number of equestrians is 7, according to the FIE Regulations. The championship also contains a points list, which shows the number of points that the equestrian will get depending on his position at the end of the race: First place: 10 points Second place: 7 points Third place: 5 points Fourth place: 4 points Fifth place: 3 points Sixth place: 2 points Seventh place: 1 point DNF: -1 points Competition The competition is a side event that does not count towards the championship, but it can have a big impact on the equestrian's career, depending on the won competitions and his performance during the competitions. The number of competitions is indefinite, but they are held between championships at least 2 times. The competition, unlike the championship, does not contain a points list, but the first three places are taken into account, as well as the performance of the horse and equestrian. The maximum number of equestrians that can compete is 10, according to the FIE Regulations. ARTICLE IV: Tracks Championship Track Championship Track is a race track that is intended exclusively for championships. This race track is constructed by the FIE, and also planned according to the FIE Regulations. This race track must provide the following: Starting Grid of seven positions, in other words the number of equestrians participating in the race, Signalization signs set up to allow equestrians to navigate during the race, Grandstands off the racetrack for spectators attending the race. Competition Track Competition Track is a race track that is intended for holding side competitions. This race track may or may not be provided by the FIE. The same terms apply to this race track as to the Championship Track, except that the number of starting positions is increased by 3. ARTICLE V: Safety Measures Safety on the track Safety on the track is paramount, so that the event passes without any incidents, be they minor or major. In order for safety to be on the first place, before the start of the race, the technicians of a race track must ensure that the race track is: Cleaned thoroughly to prevent slips or falls, Checked to determine if there are any obstacles. Off-track safety Off-track safety is also important, as there are people off the track to whom safety has been promised upon arrival. To ensure the safety of people outside the lane, the following must be done: Fences should be set up, high enough and sturdy enough to prevent any incident, The distance between the spectators and the race track should be set at least 3 meters. They represented a form of travel from one place to another, the transport of people and various goods, but they were also used for general entertainment. There is no man who has not seen a horse in his life, but that is why a large number of people have not had the opportunity to experience the charm of real riding, as well as to witness magnificent horse races. Indeed, horses are still expensive to procure even today, especially if the horse is in demand for some more serious purposes. Having a horse is in a way a gift, a gift that should be valued, cared for and nurtured in the way that a person would want to be treated. Having a horse can also be a nice way to earn money, if used properly, which will be very possible in the very near future, that is, with this edict coming directly from the Mayor's Office. This way, after the entry into force of this edict, the International Equestrian Federation (FIE) will officially exist, hoping to attract all lovers of horses and extraordinary races from anywhere in the world. From windy and hot deserts to the cold forests of the tundra, people will have the opportunity to either attend races that will leave only the best impression, or to participate in them and celebrate through various cities and nations, which is very possible with work and effort. SECOND EDICT OF THE BARCLAY MAYORSHIP LOWER & MIDDLE-CLASS INFRASTRUCTURE EDICT Issued 23rd of the Owyn’s Flame, 1839 LOWER & MIDDLE-CLASS INFRASTRUCTURE We live in a society where we are not all equal, be it financially or otherwise. However, we feel the need to help in some way those who deserve it more than us, be it the construction of a facility, donations, volunteer work and the like. And so, with the authority given to me, I officially publish a second edict from the Barclay Mayorship, which will initiate the construction of new and modernised infrastructure in the lower and middle-class districts. The Mayor's Office thinks that it is wiser to start improving those parts of the cities that need it the most, like lower and middle-class districts, and not to focus on the parts of the city which are financially stable, in some cases more than usual. FIRST EDICT OF THE BARCLAY MAYORSHIP EDICT OF THE TOWN CRIERS Issued 23rd of the Owyn’s Flame, 1839 TOWN CRIERS As one wise man said, it is not only important that the leadership of Man is established to lead a Principality, but that Man himself is knowledgeable and informed about their Principality. Town Criers are people who spread news from the mayor's office, expressing the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of citizens in public places such as parks, streets, squares et cetera. And so, with the authority given to me, I officially publish the first edict of the Barclay Mayorship, which will officially allow those willing people, people who want to do this work, to visit the Mayor’s office so that they can become the ones who influence and aid the daily transfer of information between citizens. The Criers are permitted to be of any race, gender or birth, and must have reached the age of 12. They shall be tasked with publicly informing the Populace of San Luciano of any important news concerning the Principality, its vassals, the Canonist faith, etcetera. If necessary, which is of course allowed, the Criers may organize Gatherings of Populace with the permission of the Lord Mayor, so that they may all be informed and even discuss the relevant topics and announcements. Some must have wondered, some had already gone to his office, some to his ‘sweet home’, and some most likely didn’t care. The usual feelings of mortals, which were expected at all times, must have wandered gloomily through the streets, corridors, rooms, and chambers, but, did any feeling fulfill its mission? As much as Alfred Barclay wanted to become independent and abandon what he had wanted from his early days, he knew he must not do it in a simple way. As the days passed, contemplating further plans for the Church.. it came to him after a long time. Only God knows what disease caught him unprepared at that moment, but that insidious smile that Alfred had every day was different from the previous ones. A smile that could even reveal the fate of this man who will come before God very soon.. Sooner than someone would actually think. But Alfred knew there was no going back, as there used to be. Death was useless to avoid, he knew, for it catches everyone, but he also knew that there was no need to be afraid of death. What is death, if not a path to the Skies? What is a peaceful death, if not a path to God? He found the strength to go to the room, and take two envelopes from the drawer, which he had kept for a long time, it would seem. Declaration of Inquisition Deklaracja Inkwizycji 18th of Horen's Calling, 1834 | 18th of Jula and Piov, 387 E.S HIS HOLINESS TYLOS I, High Pontiff of the Church of the Canon, Archbishop of Visigia, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Keeper of the Canon, Missionary to Aeldin, High Servant to the Exalted's Testaments, Humble Servant of the Faithful and Vicar of GOD does decree… The Ecumenical Council of 1833 to discuss the supposed Aengul Gavriil and the Azdrazi has come to an end. The Council agreed to name the imposter, Gavriil, as a fake and a servant of the Denier. However, this brought attention to the Azdrazi, servants of Azdromoth, being a threat to the canonist realm. The Azdrazi are creatures who serve the entity known as ‘Azdromoth’, a draconic creature (like Setherin) who is able to take a humanoid form should he choose to do so. These monsters are given powers by this foul creature, able to withstand intense heat, breath fire, turn their skin into scales and ash-like in colour, changing eyes and often horns develop from their head - a demon in all but name. They have sold their soul to this entity, like how Saul sold his soul to the Denier and how the Harbingers sold their soul to Setherin. This is not some unnatural birth or deformity that we often take pity upon. We are aware of their ritualistic practises and they have been known to sacrifice people to their liege - several altars have been found and an age-old one was located very close to Providence. Despite their physical transformation into demonic-entities they are able to blend into society and influence its leaders and decision making. We know, from research and investigations, that they are infiltrating nobility and government structures throughout the Canonist realm in an attempt to influence decision making and spy upon us. We therefore officially call upon an Inquisition against the Azdrazi and all followers of Azdromoth. This Inquisition shall be led by each cardinal of their respective areas who will report directly to his Holiness or the Vice-Chancellor. This inquisition is to expose, identify and expel all Azdrazi creatures and followers of Azdromoth from the canonist realm. We expect all secular leaders to assist their respective cardinals in conducting this inquisition to oust these demonic creatures. The Azdrazi are to be treated equally to the Harbingers of Setherin and cast out into the darkness. At this stage we do not seek to pursue them outside of the canonist nations, however if we become aware of military actions being undertaken by the followers of Azdromoth against our most Holy Church or any harm comes to those part-taking in this inquisition then we shall not hesitate to respond in kind to secure the sanctity and safety for all canonists in the entire realm, for We believe that these beasts will pay attention after dealing with them with brutality if it comes to it.
