  1. EDICT OF DISAVOWMENT ON THE SQUATTER-STATE OF SALVO, The Rex’s council has been made aware of a rogue element within Horde territory that has illegally seized and occupied land rightfully owned by the Horde of Many Tribes. This rogue element, known as Salvo, has seized and outfitted a fortress known to us only as “The Rock” within former Hyspian territories. Let it be said now, the Horde was unaware of any such incident current or prior carried out by the Salvian squatters on Horde territory. We do not condone terrorist raiders who seize territory with which to make their cursed citadel. Therefore, it is by the power of the Rex of the Horde that we hereby declare the Squatter-State of Salvo to be a terrorist organization which illegally holds land within dejure Horde lands. Furthermore, we hereby grant all foreign forces permission to march upon the Squatter-State’s held territory with the intention of driving them from the lands they have claimed. This grant does not extend to the rest of Horde territories. All Horde levies are, effective immediately, ordered to kill any Salvian they see on sight. All Horde civilians are ordered to report any Salvian activity they witness. The Horde will, in effect, cooperate with any nation that seeks to besiege or otherwise root out the Salvian menace. Torosh’Mak, Rex of the Horde, Chieftain of Clan Mak, Warlord of Lurakhan and Makh-Morok

I imagine that's when the sub forum was created. Older posts still exist - they're probably just buried in the Great Library archive subforum. It would probably be easier to search keywords than scroll through that manually.

  4. "Oh." said Ingvar Eiriksson Ruric as he heard of the news whilst partaking in a feast with his tribe in the far-off north.
  5. Mandate of Defense THE HORDE IS AT WAR. The forces of Orsathiel ravage the continent. Repeated attacks on Horde territory, though having thus far been repelled, are not to go unnoticed. The defenses of the Horde must be reinforced, and the Krughai with its subsidiary levies must be called to war. By my mandate as Rex of the Horde, I hereby summon the various tribes to this task of war. ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEW DEFENSES As the necessity to protect the Horde grows stronger, all tribes of the Horde must therefore adapt their territories accordingly. Therefore, the following requirements and decrees are laid out for every single tribe within the Horde which shall be heavily regulated and overseen. Each decree and requirement are to go into effect immediately upon the release of this missive. The creation of surrounding walls for every tribe which at present possesses none. The placement of cannons and ballistae atop the walls and within defensive positions in every settlement. The placement of boiling aurum cauldrons atop the walls and towers of every tribe settlement. The arming of every able-bodied citizen within the horde with full plate armor, aurum or slayersteel melee weapons, and aurum or slayersteel bolts/arrows. The centralization of every tribal militia and levy under the Targoth and Rex’s commands. The conscription of every able-bodied citizen above the age of 16 within the Horde to their local militia or levy. Desertion or refusal to obey will be met with a trial and, if found guilty, execution. The mandatory mining and creation of aurum and slayersteel weapons. Torosh’Mak, Rex of the Horde, Chieftain of Clan Mak, Warlord of Lurakhan and Makh-Morok

  7. Upon hearing of the boy-Prince's disappearance, Sir William of Sedan found himself inconsolable. He wept for what could have been, yet now...the legacy of Sedan was uncertain. Who, oh who, he wondered, would inherit the mantle now?
  8. Cart bomb or mail bomb...call it...

  9. Somewhere in the mountains, a Hyspian guerrilla fighter (Who exactly is he fighting? Who knows) squints at the missive. Inside him are two wolves - One that longs for the cart bombs, and another that longs for mail bombs. Which would win out, he wondered... and who exactly was he going to use them on?
  10. "BRUDDAH!" roared a familiar voice as Uzgk entered Stargush. Twas Grugmak, who upon Uzgk's entry, promptly tackled the newcoming Orc in a great embrace "Took lat long enough!"
  11. then he said "it's schisming time" and schismed all over the place

  12. The newly-made Rex of the Horde reads the missive with a morbid curiosity. Though he had no real relation to this ongoing conflict, he was keen to keep note of it in case any of it did spill into the Horde, which the Empire neighbored.
  13. The Grizh’Guard THE HORDE KNOWS PEACE. Despite centuries of uncertainty, war amongst descendant-kind, and the instability of the Urukim, we now find ourselves in an era of peace that has allowed us to rebuild from the ashes. Now we must work to maintain our hard-fought peace by strengthening the security of those in our government. ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GRIZH-GUARD The Rex is one of the most integral positions within the Horde of Many Tribes. Thus, it is the prerogative of the inner circle to ensure the continued protection of our head of government. Per the authority of the sitting Rex, the Grizh’Guard is hereby established with the following responsibilities: The protection of the sitting Rex and Hordespeaker of the Horde of Many Tribes. The willingness to die in the line of duty for the protection of the Rex or Hordespeaker of the Horde. Carrying out the direct orders of the sitting Rex of the Horde of Many Tribes and no others. To partake in quests to sharpen themselves and ensure the protection of the Horde. The training of the Krughai. The authority to issue orders to the Krughai and citizens of the Horde as the mouth of the Rex. The training of future members of the Grizh-Guard To distinguish themselves among the Urukim by donning blood-red armor when on-duty. CHOOSING OF THE GRIZH-GUARD Members of the Grizh-Guard shall be chosen by proving themselves as the strongest among their competitors in a tournament-style competition [pvp]. As of the establishment of the Grizh-Guard, it shall only have room for three members, to be known as “Grizh-Keshig”, to be expanded per the Rex’s decree. Furthermore, the Grizh-Guard may only consist of Urukim such as Uruks, Goblins, or Ologs who are proven citizens of the Horde. Should an existing Grizh-Keshig be challenged by an Urukim of the Horde of Many Tribes, they are required to accept the challenge and face their challenger in one-on-one combat [pvp]. The winner shall take or maintain the position, while the loser will be barred from challenging for the position for a period of ten years [10 weeks]. Should an existing Grizh-Keshig become inactive or disappear for a period longer than five years [5 weeks], the Rex reserves the right to officially remove them from their position and hold tryouts for the position to be filled. The removed Urukim may not re-try for the position for a period of five years [5 weeks]. Torosh’Mak, Rex of the Horde, Chieftain of Clan Mak, Warlord of Lurakhan and Makh-Morok
  14. "Nub a single credit to the 1,600 Horde soldiers who came to lat'z aid? This iz dizrespect ov the highest order." spoke the newly-made Rex as he read the missive. He crumpled it up and fed it to his Rhino, resolving not to speak of it further.
  15. Ascension of the New Rex THE DELIBERATION IS OVER. After a brief discussion and questioning among the Chieftains and Spiritual leaders of the Horde, the throne of the Rex sits vacant no more. I, Torosh’Mak, Chieftain of Clan Mak and once Targoth of the Horde, have officially ascended to the position of Rex, succeeding former Rex Thrall to the throne. This is a new era for the Horde and the people within its domain. As I vowed during the Klamor, I again vow that I will guide our peoples of the Horde to a future we may all bear pride upon. May the Spirits guide our people forward. Torosh’Mak, Rex of the Horde, Chieftain of Clan Mak, Warlord of Makh-Morok and Lurakhan

  18. TO PRESS A CLAIM THE REX HAS LED FAITHFULLY FOR YEARS. Yet the time of all leaders must eventually come to a conclusion. With the recent announcement of Rex Thrall’s desire to abdicate from the throne of Lurakhan, a new leader is needed for the Horde. One who will bring stability, experience, and level-headedness to the nation in a time when outside forces seek to tear apart all that has been done. It is because of this necessity that I, Torosh, Son of Grugmak, Targoth of the Horde, henceforth and hereby press my claim to the Throne of Lurakhan and the title of Rex. For years I have served the Horde, building up Makh-Morok as a place for all Urukhim to bathe under the great blue sky and leading the Krughai into battle against the Mountain’s forces. For years I have studied Horde Law and our history to understand the mistakes of our past and how best we may go forth into our future. As your Rex, I vow to uphold the laws and precedents set by my predecessors. I vow to face aggressive outside forces with the full might of the Horde. I vow to treat all existing and future vassals with fairness, as befitting their rights within the Horde Law and established contracts. Never again will we see another Dictator. Never again will we regress to the ways of senseless violence. The Horde has adapted, and will continue to do so under my reign. Come the Rexklamor, I will once more assert my claim. Those who are wise and seek a strong and prosperous horde are encouraged to rally to my banner and cause, that of Clan Mak and Makh-Morok. May the Chieftains see wisdom in my words, and select me as their new ruler. Torosh’Mak, Targoth of the Horde, Warlord of Makh-Morok, Chieftain of Clan Mak
