  1. Hey, there folks, I joined LOTC in August of 2022. It turned out to be a wonderful experience for me. I met some amazing people here and had a lot of fun. And even though I didn’t stay for long, I have decided to say goodbye to the server. My focus now is on school and the things I’m passionate about in life. But before I leave, I would like to write a few quick messages and say goodbye to some of those who made my time here so special. @Me_llamo...: Buddy ol’ pal. It just doesn’t feel right to address you as anything other than Greg. You’re probably the best friend I ever made on LOTC. You’ve got a great sense of humor and no matter how much I bully you, you’re still a great friend. Also, you’re an awesome singer. @MockingbirdArt: Oh my goodness gracious. Ever since I joined LOTC you’ve always been a helping hand and friend Bird. It’s been so much roleplaying with you. Thank you so much for helping me out after my break from the server and when I first joined. @Kaii: you’re alright I guess. But in all seriousness, I’ve had so much fun hanging out with you. Even if a lot of it was in a vc playing Hypixel. Oh and so we’re clear, me leaving doesn’t mean we’re not gonna play bedwars anymore pal. @Miniguy15736: Even though we haven’t talked in a while, doing rp with you back in Minitz was so much fun. You helped to give me a good experience while I was playing as Reeve. Thank you so much for the hilarious times. @YaBoyJay_: When I returned from my break and you recruited Pharon to the Riverguard, I had no idea I would end up roleplaying as the General of a Nation’s guard. I had so much fun learning a whole new type of RP from you. You’ve also given me valuable advice for personal problems I’ve had. Thank you so much, man. @Master Monkey: We didn’t get a whole lot of time to rp with each other, but when we did, it was so much fun. You have a very genuine way in how you interact with others. It was so awesome meeting you and I wish I had a better chance to get to know you and your persona! I have had a wonderful experience on LOTC, and many people have contributed to it. While it's impossible to thank everyone individually, I want to express my gratitude to every single person who has role-played with me. Whether we were fighting against each other or just having fun, I appreciate every one of you. I would like to give a special thanks to all the members of Mintiz and Petra, who played an important role during my time here. And with that, in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
  2. Setting Sail It was a chilly and stormy night, the wind was whipping against Pharon Adiler's face and tugging on his clothing, blowing in the opposite direction he was walking as if urging him to turn back. Despite this, he had to finish loading his boat with only a few more boxes left to put on before he could set sail. As lightning flashed in the sky, he finally loaded up the last of the crates and returned to his tent, which was set up in the trees at the edge of the beach. This would be the last night of sleep he had on solid land for who knows how long. So he made sure not to take it for granted. As he slept, a strange noise awakened him. Peering out of his tent, Pharon noticed three figures rummaging around his boat. He grabbed his sword and stepped out. As lightning illuminated the beach, Pharon could easily see these three men were bandits. He called out to them telling them to leave but they simply laughed amongst each other before approaching Pharon with weapons drawn. The group of bandits attacked but seemed to lack any real skill in combat. However, they outnumbered Pharon. Swords clashed in the pouring rain and the howling wind, a fierce battle breaking out. Pharon's skill with a sword was evident as he swiftly dispatched one of the bandits, driving his blade into the foe's chest with precision. As he withdrew his weapon, he parried a strike from another one of the bandits, delivering a forceful kick that sent the attacker staggering backward. Yet amidst the chaos of the fight, a sudden, searing pain pierced Pharon's chest. His gaze dropped to see a blade sticking through him, a cruel realization dawning upon him. Time seemed to slow down, each moment elongated as he struggled to comprehend the gravity of his situation. As the blade was pulled from his chest, he was sent crashing to the ground. The rain continued to pour, and the bandits continued the looting of Pharon’s boat. As the high elf lay on the ground, the sand around him turned red and his struggling began to cease. Had he worm his armor, he might have survived. Perhaps he could have embarked on his voyage. Perhaps he could have written to his mal'onn and malii'malonn as he had sworn to. But alas, here he lay upon blood-soaked sand. Pharon slowly turned his head to look at the sky. There was a break in the clouds above him, revealing the stars. As he began to slip into darkness, the smell of blood and salt faded. An image of a three eyed wolf that had been haunting his dreams flashed in his head. It was something he couldn't clear from his mind. And it stared at him as he died on the beach.

  9. The Coconut Trials The sun shone brightly over The Commonwealth of Petra, creating a serene atmosphere. However, Captain Pharon Adiler was preoccupied with a curious thought - could a swallow transport a coconut? Seeking answers, Pharon sought out the help of Andre, who he found inside the Riverguard keep. After a brief discussion regarding air speed velocity and other related topics, they concluded that experiments were necessary to uncover the truth. Pharon attempted the experiment the following month but found it nearly impossible to get swallows to cooperate. He eventually returned to Andre for assistance. After further discussion, they agreed to use persuasive tactics to make the birds listen. So as one does, The Captain kidnapped an entire family of swallows and tied all of them up except for one. This particular swallow, named "The Lifter," was presented with a decision: abandon its family and gain freedom, or comply with Pharon. The swallow made the correct decision and cooperated, but it took Pharon three attempts to secure it to the coconut. During the experiment, several people came to observe, including Konstantin von Theonus, Artel von Theonus, and Pelym-Vagil Rivers. The three of them then closely observed the experiment. The onlookers were either puzzled or deeply intrigued as the crucial moment arrived. Pharon endeavored to make the bird take off, and it turned out to be a simple feat. However, as the bird began to fly, the weight of the coconut swiftly brought it to a halt. Pharon was very upset when he realized all his efforts had gone to waste. However, being an elf of his word, he released all of the swallows. And with that, it would seem Pharon had an answer to the age-old question of whether a swallow can carry a coconut. But, that may not be the case. Further experiments may need to be conducted to complete The Coconut Trials.
  10. If Reeve had to fight the entire Roman Empire, Would he win? And how would he do so? AND would Greg be on his side or the Romans...
  11. Pharon picked up the missive in front of him and read it with a raised brow. After reading it, he muttered something to himself, "Helious..." He then paused for a moment, thinking about it. "Well, I happen to have a friend there. I'll keep an eye out for anything suspicious." He then folded the paper and resumed his activities.
  12. Pharon Adiler signs the oath
  13. The aged man took a seat upon the wooden bench before him, surveying the picturesque surroundings of the land of Helious. He peered back towards the abode of his dear friend before opening his pack and retrieving a small leather-bound tome. A parchment was procured from within, and the man began to pen his thoughts. "To whomever it may concern, Greetings, friend. If you are reading this missive, I am most certain that you are a companion in some manner. As you know, I am Reeve Lonewood, or, at times, known as Reeve von Minitz and Reeve Roa. Allow me to recount the beginning of my journey, which commenced within a modest cabin situated deep within the woods. Life was simple amidst the embrace of nature, with my father, mother, and brother at my side. My mother, Yorol, was a gentle and nurturing soul, instilling within me a sense of decency and a desire to aid others. My father, William, though strict in his manner, held an unbridled love for his kin, and imparted upon me the skills necessary to survive on my own. Hunting, fishing, foraging, and other such knowledge were shared with me. And then, my brother Varo, a friend throughout my youth, even with his elder status. We shared many a game and he oft brought a smile to my face. Humor was his greatest gift to me. The story of my family's early and tragic end is known to many close to me, and I shall not expound upon it further in this final letter. Their rest is well-deserved, and it is now my time to earn mine. Ah, Minitz. Upon arriving on unfamiliar shores, I was taken in by Minitz. My initial days were plagued with confusion, but the folk there helped mold me into an outgoing and amiable person. There was Sir Leon, Orion, Gregorius, Hans, Valens, Damon, Daniel, Siegfried, Petsch, and many others who gave me many memorable moments and helped me in more ways than I can put into words. If only I could pay homage to all of them here. They each deserve a thousand letters or more dedicated to their own tales, but I cannot provide such.” A momentary fit of coughing wracked the man's frame, but then again retreated into the depths of his lungs, granting him permission to finish his letter. Granting him the privilege of peace in his final moments. "I have witnessed the passage of time and the onset of age. I have lost dear friends and lived a life filled with adventure and joy. I have been a participant in battles both grand and small, and have borne witness to the evolution of places and people alike. But now, I find myself forgetting many of these moments. I lay awake at night, apprehensive that the names of those I cherish may slip from my mind. Indeed, some have already been lost to me. As my time draws to a close, I reflect upon the deeds I have accomplished. My tenure as a medic for Minitz is a source of pride for me and a testament to my desire to aid others. However, all good things must come to an end. My current physical state is far worse than it has ever been. One of my biggest journeys away from Minitz proved to be a costly one, with many years of my life forfeit. The beating I received in the hull of a ship is a tale for another time, of which I have not the luxury to recount. I confess to being less than adept with words, and thus, this letter may serve as a mere summary of the man I am. Nevertheless, it leaves behind a portion of me, regardless of where I may venture next. I extend my gratitude to all those who made my life the wondrous thing it was. I have been blessed to live as long as I have and to have encountered the people I have. I pray that I may join my family and friends in whatever lies beyond life. May the reader of this letter enjoy the remainder of their days, and be blessed by those they encounter. Best Regards, Reeve” The old man completed his letter, a sense of peace and closure filling him. He knew it would be found soon. And probably by Gregorius. He looked up to the sun and with a final sigh, and closed his eyes, his journey at an end.
