Renata closes his eyes for about two minutes upon reading the missive, then opens his eyes back up.

The newly made Shieldbearer Renata takes the missive and stabs it with his sword on his table.

Renata after slamming the paper down to his table in his home, looks forward with a smile upon his face. "COME AT US, ENEMIES OF ADRIA! YOU KNOW NOT OF WAR, SO LET US EDUCATE YOU!" He says as he sprints out his house with his armor and a sword at hand.

Renata reads the title of the missive, then immediately stops reading it, then storms out of his house.

Not sure if this means anything, but I'm new here obviously and never seen anything like this. I've met Charlemagne after all of this happened and I was super surprised that he was the type of person to even say things like that. This doesn't lower my opinion of him in any way, because he hasn't expressed any thing of that sort while we were in the same vc for multiple occasions. Please take it from someone who is extremely new compared to most on this platform that this person has definitely changed. I think it's bullshit that people can say something like "he shouldn't be allowed because he said this and it shouldn't be tolerated" when you don't even know how much the guy has changed. Everyone makes mistakes, this guy just happened to do this on a public platform and got shit on because of it, and for 4 years at that. Let the dude accept his mistake and move on. He displays a clear love for LOTC and it's community and is willing to admit and post for everyone to see, and for the most part, TO APOLOGIZE for his mistakes. This isn't easy for ANYONE to do. You guys don't need to forget, but you should at least forgive the guy for his mistakes. Everyone makes them and we wouldn't be who we are today if we didn't learn from them. -

As Renata reads the paper in awe, he recites his households signature quote: "SI VIS PACEM, PARA BELLUM." as he sharpens his sword upon his whetstone.

Renata, staring at the corpses of his foes. I shall take them on! ALL OF THEM IF NEED BE. Hahahahaha! He laughs.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) With a suspicious look as to how the old woman seemingly knows me, I reluctantly sit down, as she looks harmless. "I hail from the far North. I've come to these lands to make a name for myself without the help of my family; as my older brother has, my father, and his father. It's a family tradition."
