  1. Ser Aurellius would find himself tending to his livestock, as per usual since he's gotten much older. He'd receive a missive from his son, Adrian. The shock on his face as he read it, finding out the news of the death of his friend, Lorena. Were the two not just meeting, discussing possible trade agreements? Were they not just talking about how things are going well for them within the Empire? Lies, us as humans tend to lie when it comes to little things like this. When asked how we're doing we tend to say we're doing well when things are in fact, going to shit. When will those within the Empire realize that, just because they are United under one, does their safety mean nothing? More rules to follow, more strict rules than others. Hell, even if one isn't liked they are treated as if they are a foreigner. Lorena was a hard worker, I'd always hear about her complaints about how her work was never appreciated. She'd put in day in and day out and would not be rewarded for any of her work. In fact her work would be claimed by others. How many more innocent lives need to be taken, before they realize no where is safe.

  3. Ser Aurellius Greye found himself bringing his and his families belongings onto a ship, sweating as the hot desert sun beamed down on him. He paused a moment, taking a break as he instructed his son to take over. In the meantime, a citizen within Lotharia approached Aurellius, “Achillius has passed? Do net joke with me…” A parchment was passed to him, his eyes widened in horror as he read each word on the page. Another friend, gone - just like that. Aurellius didn’t quarrel with Achillius when he left Lotharia, he held no grudge or no ill feelings towards the man he considered a friend. All those memories in Balian of the two, leading side by side in the Regiment, fighting alongside each other and also sharing friendly memories. Why must Aurellius be the last one standing? He wonders when it will finally be his turn, so he may join his friends, wherever they may be… “Rest well, friend.“

  6. A large cloud sit idly above the capital of Norland. The temperature seemed to keep plummeting by the minute. That didn’t stop Aurellius from sweating within his armour. Snowflakes, ash and amber all fell around him, hard to differentiate what it actually was that was falling to the ground. The forest around those who defend Norland was set ablaze by the Wyvern not too long before the Demon Orsathiael came from a void within the lake. When it seemed like victory was slipping from the defenders grasp, Asmund decided to step up. He marched his way up to the cannon, calling out to those that could hear. His voice would carry through the burning forest and across the frozen lake. “MY NAME IS ASMUND…“ He continued on until you could see an aura form around him. His intentions were set, use his second chance to bless the cannon, hopefully to turn the tides. As he finished his blessing, those around the cannon helped load it, filling it with Aurum cannonballs and other assorted Aurum weapons. “FIRE“ one called out. A loud BOOM could be heard as the cannon was let loose. The cannonball successfully hit its intended target, allowing the defenders to have a winning chance. Asmund then stumbled back, taking deep breathes as if gasping for air. Aurellius rushed to the Norns side, quickly attempting to tend to him. “Asmund!“ After that time felt like it slowed down, his friend whispered a few things to him until his final breath left him. All fell silent to Aurellius Another friend gone, Another good soul lost. “At least he may rest in Valhalla…” He then watched as the defenders celebrated victory in His name. The man then watched as his friends body was placed into the sacred flame. Fin.

  8. Aurellius Greye silently read the missive in his chambers. The page lit by a candle sitting near the edge of the desk, illuminating the dark around him as his eyes scanned the page. “Farewell friend, I pray for you and your family” he said aloud. Both Aurellius and Achillius had been friends and comrades for many many years. “I hope we can still keep in touch.” He then folded the missive before putting the candle out.
  9. Aurellius leaned over the edge of the wall of Lotharia once he heard the news. The quiet in the warm, hot desert air. The only thing that could be heard is the wind blowing. It blew through his long, curly, starting to grey hair. He stared off into the distance, not sure how to feel. He was officially now the last one standing out of almost all of his friends. Rylee, Mons, Esta, and now Johanna is added to the very long list of friends he had lost. It was literally the other day where Aurellius recalled, “You can net pass before I do…” - “Do net worry, I promise” “You promised me you’d outlive me.” Aurellius had said this aloud as if she were standing in front of him. “Now who do I go to about my problems” His fists now clenched, he punched the sandstone wall before him, not caring what damage it would do. He felt so empty, all those who helped him grow into the person he was now are all gone. Perhaps it was time to pick up a bottle…
  10. “UNITED AS ONE!” Aurellius had said proudly as the new Knight Order was announced. He definitely knew he would be tougher on his sons as well, being recently made into Knights of St Foltest!
  11. take care of yourself, it’s good to take a step back from everything sometimes and try something new. hope you enjoy it!
  12. Aurellius looked over Miguels body as it lay cold on the table of the tavern. He felt a pit of fire burn within him like the forge of a blacksmith. He felt as if it were his fault, he recalls the words of his friend just before the battle which caused his untimely demise. "If anything happens, tell her." The words echoed through his head, remembering his response. "I will make sure nothing happens to you." ... He lied. Even if it weren't meant to be intentional, he lied. He wished he could've fulfilled that promise, protecting Miguel, but he failed. He knows this will affect him the way the other deaths of many friends he considered family have. How many more need to die before Aurellius realizes he is horrible at protecting those he loves? Was it mere coincidence? Was it really his fault? The image of Miguels daughter and wife burned into his skull as they weep over his limp body. He will never know if he can do anything to help them without feeling like it's all his fault, a reminder that he could've done more to prevent this from happening.
  13. Aurellius Greye knew exactly who to bring with him on this task. "We must find those lost and bring them back safely." He said to his trusted group of friends that were capable of dealing with such issue.
  14. If you’re not having fun on this server, why still play? Why still complain about how unfun it is? Why do people still play if they have so much to complain about? Yeah maybe there are certain things that limit the server at the moment due to different circumstances, but why spread that negativity and that negative thought process onto others so then they feel bored?

Go find something to do, make RP for your character or do something new instead of constantly complaining but continue to play just to make it worse for yourself. Maybe a break from this server for a while, go play something else or find a hobby. Such a shame to see so much negativity.

Not hating on anyone or anything I just think some people invest too much of themselves into the server and their characters.

  15. “Seems all their efforts in the war and their grudge against Balian was all for nothing” He laughed as he read the missive of his internal rivals. He still felt anger towards Haelunor for all they did to him and his family whilst the war was still going on. “Imagine, the Church fights with all these nations just to strike them down one by one once the war finishes. How peculiar”
  16. I definitely agree with this. I do feel certain situations should be looked at to see if that item is eligible to be redistributed though. (i.e proper roleplay prior to the person being banned, an event that makes sense for the item to be redistributed depending on the item, or some sort of storyline/event line that the item can bring so it isn’t given out so easily.) There can be varied circumstances that allow for the items to be reintroduced to RP instead of being lost forever. Imagine if someone had an item/relic from like 3 maps ago that got lost due to someone getting banned and there is virtually no way to get it back unless an event is set up. I think if someone was attempting to get the item IRP prior to the ban there should be a way to get it back. (Obviously proper roleplay would have to be there and not just someone trying to get their long lost item back and it would be looked at case by case by admin/mod manager/Story team.)
  17. “Finally. It’s time they pay for the crimes they have committed, let it be against Balian or anyone else. Maybe they’ll finally refrain from entering ones city and just doing as they please.” The once Balianese Knight read the missive with a smile. He then looked out the window of the small ship he was on and took in the view of the vast ocean.

  19. Sir Aurellius Greye knew today was the day. He wished he could be there standing side by side with his fellow Balianites. “Ave Balian.” he said aloud to himself. “Ave Good King John and the Royal Family.” He then brought his hands together in prayer as he thought of those who had lost their lives throughout the war.

  21. Sir Aurellius Greye found himself riding around Norland before a bird flew overhead. He knew that it could be some sort of letter or missive so he decided to bring his steed to a slow stop. He removed his gloves as the bird approached, snowflakes fell, thousands, if not millions, were falling around him. His breath was visible as if he were smoking a cigarette. The bird made its way to him. Attached to the bird was a letter with a red ribbon tied around it. The Balianese Knight unravelled it and unfurled the yellowed parchment. Upon the paper read Warrins words,”If you are reading this then I am dead.”. Aurellius’ expression had changed to a quite serious one only after reading the first sentence. His eyes scanned the rest of the words and it seemed like the world had gone quiet around him. First Rylee, one of his closest friends and someone he basically grew up with in Balian, now Warrin, another close friend of Aurellius. “How many must die?” He said as the paper was crumpled in his tightened fist. Anger, sadness and hopelessness filled the man as he wanted to honour his friends wish of not avenging his death. He knew he had to honour his friends somehow. Another one of many friends to add to the list…
  22. Sir Aurellius Greye had joined the d'Arkents during the meeting. He found it foolish that the de Rouens, the ones who had killed off the allies of the Balianites, the de Savoies, had offered them the title of Barons and land within the nation that killed those who live amongst the d'Arkents. He also found it odd that the man would speak of his Burgundian superiors in a way that one would not allow their underlings to speak about them in such a manner. Sir Aurellius "The Dauntless" was appreciative of the d'Arkents and their loyalty to the nation. They were quite lucky to have such a family fighting alongside them.
