Bircalin now has a bat companion that attacks upon command played by Reag. It's safe to say -- I am now Batman.

To be fair, it's not exactly a war when only one side plans to dominate the other. Nevertheless, I'm actually quite curious as to what comes of it all.

One way or another, I managed to quote a post Arik made in a topic he hasn't even posted in and on my phone. Dafuq

Yeah definitely, I just came back during Christmas break but school's always going to take up loads of free time.

I've been told a lot of those from Aegis are returning to the server/have returned. But bear in-mind we're on a temporary map at the moment and a lot of new stuff besides a map are coming with 3.0 so you might find a reason to stay in that. At least you're giving it a go!

Glad to see you're somewhat back now. Do us all a favour and stay a little while longer? Nevertheless, you're missed!

I have just destroyed the lowest status update. Feel my wrath. Now, I wait for karma.

I don't see what the dealio is with people and our current map. It's just a transition, why make a fuss. I feel like I'm missing some crucial detail as to why our current map is inadequate.

Woah. Azlan is arabic for Lion. My mind is blown.

Something needs to be thrown into the whole roleplay guards give villains. It just seems... stale. You expect everything that's going to happen, and 90% it ends with death/mutilation. Villains make it so they get caught, it seems odd to just get killed or mutilated for the other party's enjoyment. Opinions?
-
I believe you have a valid argument, well, yes and no, depending on the crime it makes sense for death. But consider, if you steal a piece of bread, you probably shouldent be killed, even though in the time this is set that is punishable by death, I think its overboard and makes the whole guard-villan situation monotonous...

One time, my character Nemantius, while still a Grand Councilor of Alras, was pestered by a minor assault (thrown pebbles and sand) by a citizen. I figured I'd make things interesting, so rather than having him jailed or beheaded, I had him drafted by the Alrasian Army, to allow him a chance to "regain his honor". Try something like that, perhaps!
