[Another idea is anti-hero's on board the pirate ship. You can create a Pirate code, and be 'honorable' in your ways. Think samurai, but in pirate form. Also what timezone is the crew mostly in?]

Instead of a storm I propose Zombie invasion. And we have a 'do or die theme' If zombie invasion fails, we try other disaster. Like once a week :D -
[You know what you guys should do? Raid the other pirates, and become the Pirate King. Force them to join you, promising riches and wenches. After that harass each nations docks, slaving as much as possible, setting fire to homes. Making them[nation] form a Naval defence worthy enough to have weekly raids and such.] [No, I did not read One Piece to get this nor did I spend more than 5 minutes for this idea Best of luck!] ^.^

Maybe you could collaborate with Gaius, who is working on a Mongol -Arabseque nomads? It would be better to have a collective group of talented people working together.

Necromancy? Not sure if I could still make sexual jokes if you came back that way. I wasn't even aware that you brought Rhise's body over, unless its related to the spirits/essence of souls or something.
Alethion would be in a lot of trouble if you came back. Or incredibly happy to have two wives.
