  3. After a few days of no response from Aiera, Silvos seeks out the rest of the council. Well? It seems miss Seregon is not present to respond to my challenge. Shall we have a vote?
  4. The gate ascends and descends, and strolling through comes a known figure. Clad white-purple, wielding a serpent-headed staff, sporting a glorious platinum goatee, accompanied by that stern, ancient yet trusted look of the old elf. Silvos Sythaerin enters the city smirking, for he is home once more. The wounds on his face and torso have healed, and he looks healthier than ever. Yet his gleeful smirk soon disappears, as he strolls through the city to inspect how things are going. Returning to the main square after a quick bath, he gathers a crowd and starts to speak. Citizens of Haelun’or! First of all, let me say that I am glad to return, for I have missed you all dearly over the last two years. I apologize, for leaving without notice, but my departure was urgent and I was unable to leave behind a message. I was injured, nigh-death, as I left. A voidal horror attacked me in what was once maehr’sae industries. Your great tilruir’mali Riondil Seni was able to save me, together with Lorien, yet the event left me at the brink of death. And so I was brought to the monks, where I have spent my time healing, resting and recovering. And now, I return… To find this city in shambles. Forgive me, dear citizens, when I say this citadel is no longer a true home of high elves, but rather a disgrace to the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya. The library, still empty since miss Lazul’s departure. The halls, empty, dusty. The baths, grimey, unclean yet hardly used. And lastly the laboratories, neglected and absolutely awful. When I went in there, nearly two years ago, I left a message on one of the boards I was ashamed no one had sent me a message about the acid someone must’ve stolen from my deposit, only to leave the place a ruin. I was insulted to see someone simply reorganized the hallways to move around it, rather than attempting to resolve the issue. I felt excluded, being locked out of my own office, as I no longer held my position due to it simply being removed from the system entirely. And when I went back to check just a few moments ago, said message was still there. Unchanged, unnoticed. Unbelievable. When I was okarir’tayna merely a few years ago, we had a council meeting. We discussed whether the position of tayna was worthy of being an okarir, or whether it should simply be a tilruir under oversight of the okarir’indor. It was decided upon the okarir’tayna position should stay, as it did in Lin’evaral, because both indor and tayna were too big a responsibility to place them in one cubicle. And yet, that is what this council has done. Not even making the tayna position a servant beneath indor, but making indor do both. However, I’ve returned, to see both positions neglected. Barely any books, the laboratories still chaotic, it is a thorn in my eye. This is why I’ve decided, miss Seregon, to challenge you for the position of tilruir’indor. Once I have properly moved back in, I shall prepare a solution to disarm the acid in the laboratories, so they may be returned to their former glory. I have contacts in the Caliphate, the city of Riga, and the lands of Salvus who are ready to provide me with tomes and books to refill our library. I shall strive to return the hunger for progress and health in the citizens, for us to truly follow the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya. The world around us is ever changing, and we must stay two steps ahead as we have done in the past. It is for this reason I shall also be taking up miss Lazul’s work to finally birth the College of Haelun’or. I shall be setting up an application for citizens and councilmembers to offer classes, and hosting a few classes myself. We must educate one another, so we may help eachother understand this world even more. Maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, citizens of Haelun’or.
  5. Before this application can be accepted, you must speak with the Maheral on various issues regarding the labs. - Luther Sullas I have already spoken to Riondil regarding my citizenship, and I am soon giving an official statement.
  6. Name: Silvos'Fiyem Malaurirante'Alras'Asulon elathri'thilln elokarirante'tayna Haelun'oronn Avernir'kina Sythaerin ((MCName)): MrSythaerin Origin (Previous citizens should include how long they’ve resided in Haelun’or): Since the early days of Asulon, approximately two and a half centuries. How can you declare that you are Mali'thill: I have resided within elhaelun'or for centuries, have not once broken my vows to Larihei, procreated with only other pure wedded mali'aheral, and not once harmed another of my kin without knowing absolutely certain they were impure. Why do you wish to become a citizen of Haelun’or (Previous citizens may skip this question): - What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you: As I've stated about seven times in my previous applications, it is the very purpose of life. As previous okarir'tayna, I always worked towards progress and health, even creating maehr'sae industries to celebrate them. It is my duty to continue to follow it. How familiar are you with the Elven language? (These sources are available to help): Nearly fluent. What is the subject of the first book you will submit to the college? (If you’ve already submitted books, what was the most recent one): Studies of the skin, vol. III: bortu. Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the council: I am glad to be back.
  7. Silvos was simply sitting at home, enjoying the company of his conjurations, when a belated letter arrived. Upon reading it, he set out to meet the others at the destined location. He arrives at the scene silently, and remains in the back as to not disturb any already ongoing conversation. Finally, he mumbles: How pleasant.
  8. Do you not like the story, or did you just write no because you are a sheep? He said no because it's common knowledge that vampires nor werewolves will ever be accepted onto the Lord of the Craft. In addition to that, there -is- something ever so slightly similiar to vampires, imp-somethings. I'll give you this serious response, you can expect a lot of plain "no"'s when posting topics regarding this.

  10. Silvos walks around the halls, obviously frustrated. As he arrives at the demolished laboratory entrance, he grumbles. "Whoever keeps blocking off my laboratories, they shall pay. You can take away my position, but you won't keep me out of my labs!"
  11. After furter consideration I've decided to vote anyway. Tilruir’mali Kelthran Ilwindor ✔✔ Riondil Seni
  12. Silvos Sythaerin -Abtain "I am indifferent about these two. I am sure either one will improve our current system in their own way. I will guide either of them if necessary. Good luck, candidates."
  13. "My son..." A single tear crawls its way down from Silvos' eye, across his cheek, and then burrows itself in the thick, silver strands of his goatee. "Until next time."
  14. Silvos patiently awaits for Taeleh to post the referendum he created to reinstate the position of tilruir'tayna.
  15. Silvos simply grumbles at the fact the tayna position hasn't been reimplemented. "Youths."

  19. A small note is written on the page after the Sullas chapter. "Hardly necessary with the bloodline archive already being in place... But I suppose an update never hurts. Perhaps it will allow one to even further work out the overall mali'aheral family tree. Oh well, here goes. -S. Sythaerin" Family tree The Sythaerin Theme History Traits

  22. Silvos awaits until Zaniil is done, then continues to get onto the podium himself. He wears his usual stern face, and carries his staff in his right hand. He coughs briefly, then straightens his back to speak to the crowd clearly, inspiringly and galvanizingly. Mali'aheral of elhaelun'or. Today, you are presented with a simple question: Where do You want this government to go? Do you want it to be completely ruled by you, the citizens as Zaniil is suggesting? Do you want it to rule you, and strenghten you as Taeleh will do? Or perhaps you would just like a government that works, like in the old days. The days of Lin'evaral. Of the Enclave. Even of Asulonian Haelun'or. Times in which we were ruled by great minds like Lucion Sullas and Dio Astoré. I am here today to present to you, that option. I, Silvos'Avernan Sythaerin, nominate myself for Sohaer in the hopes of restoring the balance to our city by fully bringing us back to our roots, to purity, to the success we wanted when we had it, the success we need now that we have lost it. I will restore our city to a time of Silver, where citizens wake and languish reciting Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya. I will fight to bring magic back into our city as a key component of our society. Let it be known that you don't need blades protecting you. You are the kind of Larihei, and you are strong. Mana flows through you that possesses strenght the SLMR could never offer you. Elokarir'indor and I have been working on setting up the college of Haelun'or. Classes will be held on all matter of subjects, including magic. Any teachers in the city may use the facilities we are offering to teach their students properly, and securely. I will ensure the laboratories continue to be a safe location for your studies, so that you may continue to progress and develop your knowledge. You have already shown me great work in the last few years, and I'm sure together we can progress even more. For progress is the way of elmaehr'sae hiylun'ehya. I will strive for success. And I will let nothing get in our way. Vote for progress. Vote for Sythaerin. Silvos raises his staff into the air, its head releasing a wave of dark cyan aura into the air. Any magic users feel the wave going through them, invigorating them. He then sets it down, tapping it twice, and walks off of the podium. The sound of his silver feet echoes for a few seconds before fading into the hallways of the grand citadel.
  23. "One assassination and they immediatly go paranoid, typical." Silvos scoffs and follows the pale woman out.
